Wednesday Local Business League

Do you work at or own a local Western New York business?
Are you interested in getting your colleagues/employees active?
Do you want to enjoy our beautiful Buffalo summer?
Do you want to compete for the chance to be crowned the 2024 LOCAL BUSINESS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPION?!

Program Info

• Coed 6's (4 guys, 2 girls)
• You will play 1 match per night against another team
• Matches are scheduled on 50-minute increments (6:00, 6:50, 7:40, etc.)
• Each team will pay the referee each night ($12 cash OR $15 Venmo)
• You will be asked to provide your team's general experience level for scheduling purposes
• Recreational level (no volleyball experience necessary!)

The league will run for 12 consecutive weeks, June 5th - August 21th. There will be 11 weeks of round robin play. One week for single elimination playoffs.

You may hold any number of players on your roster, and you can rotate players in each night. We kindly ask you to populate your team with employees, but we understand that "outsiders" may be necessary to fill any holes!

Teams are welcome to bring coolers, chairs, food, drinks, etc. to the premises!

$100 deposit is required to LOCK IN your spot! Total payment is due the second week of the league.

Thursday Girls' 4's - Summer 2024

Girls' 17U & 15U League

REGISTRATION OPENS ON MARCH 1!

• Teams will sign up with AT LEAST 4 girls on their team (you may hold as many players as you like).
• Each team will report to the KAV during the time slot for that week**
• The girls will play against a variety of teams each week during their 1-hour time slot.
• The KAV will utilize an app called Scoreholio to maximize play time each week.

OFFERINGS:

1. Girls 17U (Full Session): Runs from June 6th - August 15th (10 weeks)
2. Girls 15U (Full Session): Runs from June 6th - August 15th (10 weeks)

3. Girls 17U (Short Session): Runs from July 11th - August 15th (6 weeks)
4. Girls 15U (Short Session): Runs from July 11th - August 15th (6 weeks)

NO PLAY ON JULY 4TH!

Time Slots: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM, 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Thursday Boys' 4's - Summer 2024

Boys' 17U & 15U League

Tuesday CoEd Grass 3's - Summer 2024

CoEd Grass 3's

• Acceptable combinations on the court:
  - 2 guys, 1 girl (most common)
  - 1 guy, 2 girls
  - 3 girls
  - 1 guy, 1 girl
  - 2 girls
• Matches are played in the grass at the KAV
• Games will begin promptly at 6:00 PM
• Most nights, you will be assigned a double header.
• Matches will be two games to 21, cap at 23.
• This league does NOT use officials (honor calls expected)

Rules:

• Nets will be set at ~7'10" (a little lower than men's height)
• Boundaries will be 30' x 30' (regular court)
• Players need to serve in order, but do not need to "rotate"
• Everyone is frontrow
• Block +3 --> You get three more contacts after a block touch
• No open-hand tips
• Allowed to set the ball over the net, directly in front/behind
• "Upper" division ONLY: CANNOT receive serve OR free balls with open hands
