Sabellida
The Sabellida is a species of marine worms, also known as Feather Duster Worms. They are a suborder of annelida worms in the class Polychaeta. They are found all along the North Sea.
Skelatal Structure Sabellida's are sessile and found attached to rocks or sand by their base. They are filter feeders with no buccal organ. This means they use their prostomium, or fan like strings that are fused with peristomium and feeding tentacles to get the food they need to survive. Since they cannot move they rely on fish and other marine animals to swim into their Prostomium in order to feed.
