Amish Paste

Variety from Wisconsin produces large, deep red, meaty, paste-type fruit with an oblong ox-heart shape. Solid, nearly coreless with a good, sweet flavor. A great versatile tomato for slicing on sandwiches, quartering in salads, making sauce, canning and drying. Indeterminate 80 days.

Anna Russian

Heirloom seed handed down to an Oregon woman from several generations, and a story it came from a Russian immigrant. Large, juicy pinkish-red heart-shaped consistently weigh 10 - 14 oz. Small foliage and wispy vines are typical of ox-heart-type tomatoes, but this one is distinctive for its size, earliness, and juicy outstanding taste. Indeterminate. 70 days

Barlow Japanese (New for 2014!)     

A Kentucky family heirloom from Brita Barlow whose grandfather Roy Barlow received the seeds from a friend returning from Japan after WWII.   Rose-pink oblate smooth fruits are 8-12 oz., thin skinned, small core, meaty and juicy but not watery.   Flavor is intense, sweet with complex overtones.   Great all-purpose uses – salads, sandwiches, sauce, canning or just eating out of hand.  The potato-leaf indeterminate plant yields incredible volumes all season long.  80-85 days

Berkeley Tie Dye Pink

Beautiful, early, and very sweet rich flavor. Port wine colored beefsteak with metallic green stripes. Excellent sweet, 8-12 oz rich dark tomato flavor. Brandy Sweet Plum (Cherry)

Compact, potato leaf foliage, outstanding, rich sweet flavor, slightly elongated 2 oz. pink cherries. An accidental cross between Brandywine and Sweet 100 with the rich flavor of Brandywine and the sweetness of Sweet 100. The large pink cherries are so sweet they won’t make it to the kitchen counter. Brandywine, Pink - Sudduth's Strain

Widely known as the original Pink Brandywine strain, obtained by Ben Quisenberry from Doris Sudduth Hill, whose family had grown it for more than 80 years. Many gardeners consider this strain the best Brandywine with fruit that is superior in taste and smoothness. 1-2 lb pink beefsteaks with the delectably complex, rich, sweet flavor that has made Brandywine justifiably famous. Cherokee Purple (New for 2014!)

A famous Tennessee heirloom associated with the Cherokee Indians dating back to the 1880’s.   The prolific plant produces purple-pink-brown thick skinned fruits with flattened globes avg. 8-14 oz., highly flavorful with rich, superbly sweet, smoky, earthy flavor that lingers on the tongue.  Flesh is a beautiful dusky pink with deep, rich-red / mahogany interior with excellent complex flavors.  A perennial taste test winner.   Indeterminate. 80 days.

Chocolate Cherry

Extremely flavorful, uniform, ½ oz. round fruits in trusses of 8, measure 1" in diameter. Fruits hold stems very well, don't crack and can be picked several days before completely mature and allowed to ripen off the vine without sacrificing quality. Great variety for the home gardener. Mix with Red, Yellow, Orange and Pink cherries for a great salad. Indeterminate. 75 days.

Earl’s Faux

Deep pink, 10-16 oz. beefsteaks have delicious rich flavor that is both sweet and complex. In fact, the flavor is so good that this variety has won awards in tomato tasting contests. Tall, vigorous plants are potato-leaved and bear a good crop of these smooth, meaty tomatoes. Deep rose skins surround the red-pink creamy and succulent flesh. Heirloom variety. Early Wonder

This extra-early maturing, compact variety makes an impressive crop of round, dark pink tomatoes with an average weight of 4-6 oz. They have excellent, full tomato flavor, and earn their name since it is a wonder an early variety tastes so good. Perfect for gardeners in short-season areas.  Triple bonus - early, great taste, super productive.Determinate. Can be grown in large pots. 65 days


Fahrenheit Blues (Cherry) (New for 2014!)    

Fahrenheit Blues is one of Tom Wagner’s new blue cherries.  The stunning 1-oz.cherry has very good anthocyanin expression.  Great flavor balance of sugars and acids; bursting sweet, zingy/citrusy, robust flavor getting sweeter with hot weather.  Visually striking - unripe fruits are amethyst purple and ripen to almost black caps around the stem and brick red mahogany on the bottoms. Fruits grow in long trusses of 6-12.  Small indeterminate plant can be grown in a large pot. 75 days


Fruit Punch (Cherry)

The ultimate in cherry tomatoes. This pinkish-red beauty achieves a new level of sugar-sweetness and flavor, superb texture, and a tangy "true tomato" taste. Regular leaf plant produces loads of 1 oz. round excellent cherry fruit, high yields, super sweet fruity taste, and possess thin skins - remarkable, considering its wonderful crack resistance, even in heavy rains. German Johnson Potato Leaf (New for 2014!)     

A large, prolific plant originating in Virginia and North Carolina that produces huge, pinkish-red, beefsteak type tomatoes often more than 1 pound. They also appear relatively early in the season, productive with good disease resistance, well-shaped with no cracking. It’s their incredibly sweet flavor that really makes them special. Excellent robust flavor, outstanding for slicing, sandwiches, canning and juicing. Indeterminate, 80 days.

Hege German Pink

Luscious, sweet pink beefsteak fruit have an incredible flavor and are large and meaty, making them perfect for slicing. All around excellent fruit with very little, if any, cracking and good producer. Tomatoes avg. 12-20 oz. and grow on tall, vigorous, regular leaf plants. Grown by Lacy Eugene Hege and sold at several Farmer’s Markets in Welcome, NC, this heirloom is renowned for its fine flavor. Indeterminate. 80 days.

 

 

 

Kosovo

This wonderful variety came from a former U.N. worker in Kosovo. Huge, deep pink heart-shaped fruit has a sweet rich flavor and is very meaty while still being juicy. Production is excellent and the tomatoes are simply beautiful, but it is the delectable and intense tomato flavor that really makes this one special. Heart, double-heart, and large flat shaped fruit all on the same plant average 12 – 20 oz in weight. Fairly early for such large fruits. Indeterminate. 75-80 days.

 

 

 

Marianna’s Peace

The large 12 – 20 Oz. pink beefsteak fruits have luscious, creamy, dense sugary full tomato flavor that rivals Brandywine. Exceptionally rich flavors, with good sweet/acid balance and luscious complex flavors reminiscent of the finest of those "old-fashioned" tomato flavors. The sugary nectar of its creamy, dense, flesh has exceptionally rich flavor. Fruits are perfect for slicing, eating fresh and generally have few seeds. Large potato-leaf plants bear quite well. Martin’s Sweet Red Cherry

Regular-leafed, vigorous, bushy, open-pollinated plants that are prolific and consistently yield extra sweet 1-ounce red elongated pear-shaped cherry tomatoes. A real standout, superior full flavored strain like no other red pear you've ever tasted. An excellent choice for snacking directly from the vine, or in salads. Excellent tasting cherry tomato. Vigorous, potato-leaved plants put on numerous clusters of 2 - 4 oz. round red golf-ball size fruits, superb flavor rivals that of the large beefsteak types. Huge prolific plant with abundant foliage is resistant to diseases like Early Blight and protects the fruits from sunscald. Delicate balance of sweet and slightly tart flavors. Orange Berry 

Orange Berry is a dense, orange-skinned cherry tomato with a high sugar content and a distinctive flavor when fully ripe. Flavor is bold, rich, sweet having the intense flavor of a full-size tomato, packed into a small, beautiful oval deep-golden ¾-1 oz size fruits, growing in bountiful clusters. Continuously produces through the summer on vigorous, sturdy plants. A superb choice! Indeterminate. 70 days

 

 

 

Moravsky Div

The name is Czech for "The Wonder from Moravia." Compact potato-leaf plants produce copious amounts of 2-3 oz. red fruits, some globes, of outstanding taste that grow in clusters of 4-6 per truss resembling modern, supermarket tomato. Great combination of earliness, outstanding smooth taste yielding plenty of these delightful, juicy tomatoes throughout a long season. Determinate. Suitable for large pots. 70-75 days.

 

 

 

Orange Russian 117

This is the first bicolor ox-heart tomato and it exhibits the best qualities of both types. Tomatoes weigh 8 oz. or more and are heart-shaped with smooth golden flesh marbled inside with red and pink streaks. They are delicious and sweet, somewhat fruity in flavor, and are meaty with very few seeds and produced continuously even in the hottest parts of summer. Crack resistant, too! Rosella Purple Dwarf Tomato Project

One of the amazing new dwarf varieties from the "Dwarf Tomato Project" similar to 'Cherokee Purple' in color, size, shape and flavor but on a dwarf growing plant. Its stout central stem grows to only three to four feet in height, perfect for a large container or a small garden space. The fruits are a very nice shape ranging from 6-12 oz., and ripen to a deep purple-rose color. Sunrise Bumble Bee (Cherry) (New for 2014!)      

Sunrise Bumble Bee is an outstanding bi-color striped 1-2 oz. cherry tomato developed by Fred Hempel, Baia Nicchia Farms, Sunol, CA. SBB is visual eye-candy for any tomato lover, plants grow huge clusters of gorgeous marbled yellow and red fruit inside and out with excellent sweet and tangy flavor. The regular leaf indeterminate plants produce copious amounts of fruit that hold exceptionally well on the vine and will keep for a long time once picked.  This is a real standout winner!!  70-75 days



Virginia Sweets

This heirloom variety is simply one of the best tasting, best producing gold-red bi-colors. On top of that, the tomatoes are stunningly beautiful and enormous, weighing at least 1 lb each. Golden yellow beefsteaks are colored with red stripes that turn into a ruby blush on top of the golden fruit. Flavor is sweet and rich and harvests are abundant. Indeterminate.80 days.
