Registered Nurse
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Entering the world of therapy can be unsettling for many people. Will I be judged? Will I be heard? Will I be understood? It is my goal as a therapist to create a warm and welcoming space of acceptance and nonjudgement. I firmly believe that you know your life better than anyone and I intend to meet you where you are. In the spirit of collaboration, we can pinpoint challenges in your life and identify and cultivate your unique strengths, including how to utilize them to build the life you desire. It is powerful and life changing when these discoveries lead to improved relationships and a better understanding of how we interact with the world around us.

I am a registered nurse and a licensed clinical social worker. I attended the University of Pittsburgh for both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and my Master of Social Work. Most recently I served as an outpatient nurse and therapist working with the perinatal population at Allegheny Health Network’s Alexis Joy D’Achille Center for Perinatal Mental Health. I am specially trained in perinatal psychotherapy, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal grief and loss and midlife challenges for perimenopausal and menopausal women. My background includes both individual and group counseling. I am culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I have experience working with a clinically diverse group of clients using a wide variety of modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Behavioral Activation (BA) and mindfulness.
