USGI HDR | MRE Case and 2 Pack
Each Ration is made to provide a day's worth of nutrition and calories for one adult. Lentils and beans are used in the meals to offer as many nutrients as possible at a low cost for people who may not be getting enough to eat. Similar to MREs, each HDR is fully cooked and can be eaten straight from the package. However, unlike most military MREs, HDRs don't come with a way to heat the food and need an external heat source or can be eaten cold.
Each Ration includes:
(2) Vegetarian Entrees (lentils/beans/rice)
(2) Biscuits
(2) Vegetable Crackers
Fruit Bar
Peanut Butter and Fruit Jam condiments
(2) Fruit Pastries
Shortbread Bar
Accessory Pack (seasonings, matches, towelette, napkin)

Unlike regular military MREs, these HDRs do NOT include a flameless heater unit)
Each case comes sealed with 10 complete full-day Rations and includes an assortment of meals. We cannot guarantee which specific meals will be included
MREs do not have an expiration date. They have an inspection date and a pack date. The Inspection date is three years after the pack date, and the inspection date is the date the Military inspects the cases during long term storage to verify they are still fit for consumption. Manufacturers suggest that meal contents are good for approximately 5 or more years when stored at room temperature. Meals stored in cooler temperatures stay fresh longer. Always store your MRE’s in a climate controlled area.
