Marcel Lhoest - head chef (cook) Luxembourg pavilion


After training at the Hotel School of Liège where he graduated 1st in his class and first experience in a Brussels restaurant where he worked his way up very quickly, Marcel Lhoest got the opportunity of a lifetime to work as chef de partie in the kitchens of the Luxembourg Pavilion. He was one of the many behind-the-scenes staff who did everything in their power to make Expo 58 a memorable and tasty event for its visitors.
