Spaceship texturing STILL NEED HELP!

You might have seen this before, but now I’m moving on to texturing, and I think it deserves its own post. I’m making a full fledged project now, so I’m needing a walkthrough on a lot of things… Anyways, I have this so far. How would I fix the diagonals on the side of the ship, and overall any C&C’s? Too much color? More depth/nor mapping? Thanks in advance!

Looks quite good, only the textures to repetetive, try breaking it up with another texture… .my suggestion is that you UV map it, then bake the AO to it

And then work on the baked texture, with scratches, burnmarks from entering the atmospere perhaps, it would look cool!

How would I make a burn mark? I have photoshop, and maybe could use it with that? I’m not sure what burned metal would look like, but I like your idea, Guiseppe.

Uhh, I’m not sure if I should use, because I’m doing an animation, and I want lighting to change. So, is AO baking still ok to do for that? How exactly would I do the steps you explained?

I still don’t know what to do. How exactly would you texture this thing?
