May 16, 2022 Filing 1 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ORDER: On April 28, 2022 the Clerk of Court was contacted by an Official of the Wonder Lake Post Office, who made him aware of a concerning note that was left on April 26, 2022 taped to a PO Box at the Wonder Lake, IL post office. The note was investigated by the U.S. Marshals Service. John Lambrechts from Wonder Lake, IL, recently had called multiple individuals in the Western Division Offices of the United States Attorney and District Court Clerk. During the phone calls, Mr. Lambrechts made nonsensical demands and the calls concerned staff due to their inappropriate nature. His erratic phone calls included making demands to allow him to open criminal cases. On April 29, 2022, Mr. Lambrecht was arrested at the Wonder Lake post office. Based on the McHenry County Sherriff's Office records, Mr. Lambrecht was charged with False Presentation; Public Official and Employee. The U.S. Marshals Service soon discovered that the note was left at the post office by the same individual who identified himself as John Lambrechts. The Court's Executive Committee finds that there is sufficient cause for concern regarding Mr. Lambrecht's conduct if he is not escorted during his time in the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse in Chicago, Illinois or the Roszkowski U.S. Courthouse in Rockford, Illinois. IT IS, THEREFORE, HEREBY ORDERED THAT to maintain judicial security, John P. Lambrechts is ordered to sign in upon arrival at the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse at 219 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60604 or in the Stanley J. Roszkowski U.S. Courthouse at 327 S. Church Street, Rockford, Illinois 61101, and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT a representative of the U.S. Marshals Service shall accompany Mr. Lambrechts at all times while he is present in the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse or in the Stanley J. Roszkowski U.S. Courthouse, and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT a miscellaneous file with the title "In the Matter of: John P. Lambrechts" and case number 22 CV 002551 shall serve as the repository of this order, and any order or minute order entered pursuant to this order. The Clerk will also maintain a miscellaneous docket associated with the file. All orders retained in the file will be entered on that docket following standard docketing procedures. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk shall cause a copy of this order to be mailed to Mr. John P. Lambrechts, 3710 E. Wonder Lake Rd, Wonder Lake, IL 60097. Such mailing shall be by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested. Signed by the Executive Committee on 5/16/2022. Mailed via certified mail no. 7019 2280 0000 0963 0388 (td, )
