Obituary of Herve' V. LeBrun

LeBrun, Herve V., passed away at home on December 9, 2012 at the age of 91. Herve was a long time resident of Southington, formerly of Berlin and Newington, CT. Herve is survived by his son, Donald LeBrun and his wife Andrea, of Newington, daughters, Denise Gadomski of Berlin, and Deborah Michalski and her husband Chris, of Southington, and daughter in-law Patricia LeBrun of Southington. Herve also leaves behind his nine grandchildren, Michelle, Gregory, Nicole, Dameon, Cortney, Benjamin, Kevin, Brian, Heather, two step-grandchildren, CJ and Justin, his great-grandchildren Justine, Chad, Luke, Devlin, Cayden, Sydney, Coleman, Farah, Brody and Harper; two brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Vivian (Lind) LeBrun, his son Gerald LeBrun, and his son in-law Franklin Gadomski. During his life, Herve volunteered his services to our country in the US Navy and served in World War II. He went on to own and operate LeBrun-Sichler Ford car dealership in New Britain, CT for fifteen years and served as President of the New England Ford Dealers. Herve was a member and past president of the Lion's Club in Berlin, where he spent many years volunteering his time. He was a past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus in New Britain, a member of the VFW, and a parishioner of Saint Dominic church in Southington. Herve was as fun-loving, as he was hard-working. He always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. His wife Vivian was the love of his life and he was most proud of his family. He loved having his children and grandchildren over every weekend and sharing a big meal. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Dominic's Church 1050 Flanders Road Southington. Burial will follow in The State Veteran's Cemetery Bow Lane Middletown. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
