Vegeta, unless you're planning on playing in 4K or more resolution it's utterly pointless to go for 2x 780 's. What's more often you /sometimes/ get jitter/lag when using SLI in games.
You could easily save 1k, even 1.5k dollar while still retaining a "beastly" computer.
I wouldn't go for 6-core cpu, because simply put, games do not currently use (or use well) more than 2 cores. So going with 4-core would still be good (cpu-intensive apps like WinRar work less quickly than on a 6-core but you save a lot of money for a small loss of performance), so if you want to be future proof, a mid-range i7 does the job very nicely.

A 356$ motherboard is too much, you're basically paying premium price for features nobody uses.
64 Go of Ram is 32Go too much, you save 330 bucks on that, and your pc will perform the same... unless you're an audio engineer working with thousands of samples and dozens of tracks at the same time of course.
If you go with "only" one 780 then you get to save a lot on the PSU, still get a 80Plus though.

But of course you may disregard anything I wrote if you want to - how to put it simply... - throw money out the window. Mind that you could buy lots and lots of VGM with that money, since VGM is your thing aswell :)

You could easily save 1k, even 1.5k dollar while still retaining a "beastly" computer.This. You posted that config and everyone told you why plenty of it was flat out wasteful before. 64GB of RAM is simply burning money - there are better ways to spend $330. You do want to read up on SLI micro stuttering too and decide whether the risk is worth the performance reward.

Hell, it's your money to burn I guess. Either way, maybe I'm being a dick here, but posting about it multiple times in a thread called "lossless videogame soundtracks" without even making an attempt to talk about audio is probably pushing the boundaries of "off topic".

i currently have a i7 2600k, so I am trying to upgrade the CPU, not keep it a quad core. I also do Encoding so I need as much CPU power as I can get. And no the 4960X isn't worth it.
The RAM was set to 64 GB because I get tired of having the need to add more and more RAM as time goes on. Someone said at one point.. "2 GB is more than enough" .. haha look at now..

And there are a few games out (can't recall names) that need just a tad bit over the 780 Ti to run smoothly on highest settings.
Using 2 780 Ti's will keep me up to date with any new games for at least the next 5 years.. if not more. And that "lag" from still using SLi .. means its not configure correctly. Have to tweak the graphic settings a bit. Like having 1 card dedicated to PhyX or something related. Depending on how you want to put it.

The motherboard's PCI express slots are layed out perfectly for my hardware, Top slot for 780, skip a slot for air flow, put in another 780.. then below that the pci x1 for my soundcard, and on the case... there is a vertical expansion slot for the secondary soundcard (which doesn't require a pci slot, just connected via ribbon). The board also comes with a new wireless technology, Wireless AC .. which is better than wireless N. The motherboard puts out its own wireless signal, so you don't even need a router.

I think however, I will probably just go with a 1200W PSU, but everything else.. is non-negotiable lol

Thanks Krispy for the new F-Zero X OST link ! :3

@Vegeta AFAIK if you set one cart to do PhysX tasks, you're not using SLI. Correct me if I'm wrong.
And a mid-end card is enough to do just that.
Micro-stutter is something you can't help, some people have it while using SLI and some don't :(
(I and a friend tried to eliminate that by "tweaking" his configs but there's only so much you can do)

If you really want incredible power, you might want to wait for the Maxwell GPU architecture, they recently released a low-end 750 TI with it. You might need to wait for less than a year but you'll get much more bang for the buck.

Yes, but those 2 SLI cards will be used for playing? seriously? two? Dude, with one of those you're going OVER it for more than 5 years.

And Liquid Cooler, from my own experience doing renderings, modelating, sculpting, etc. AVOID that. Its more the fancy it looks than other.. Cooler Silent Pro's are way better and cheaper than that.

If you were telling me that you're gonna render via GPU or CPU rendering via V-Ray or in software's like Octane, etc. Will be more easy to understand... Because IMO that build looks more like a render cow or a part of a farm than PC for play and rippin' music.

Nice PC!

The whole point for liquid cooling is to keep temps down lower. In order to keep the 4930K at decent temps (25-29 C) I would need either liquid cooling, or a ridiculously large cpu cooler that would probably cover up ram slots... which is a no go for me. So I went with liquid cooling. Not sure what you mean by renderings, modelating, or sculpting... I just Rip CD's.. Zip them, upload them.. uh.. play games.. even multiple game accounts.. so I do multibox on 1 computer.. so the extra RAM was for that mostly. And I also do encoding, using Handbrake and using BluRay discs. The extra CPU power is to get all of these things done quicker.. I know Ripping a CD won't really go faster because its based on the program's (EAC) settings. It would be for other stuff like weekly virus scans ect.. things that would require CPU power.. who knows.. maybe with 2.. 780 Ti's .. I could farm me some bitcoins .. as long as it didn't kill the card off lol

My goal in this whole thing.. is to get the best of the best.. just minus 4960X cuz fuck paying $1000 for something I can just OC on the 4930K anyway.

I would have gone with Tri SLi, but there isn't enough slots on my board to support it, AND have my soundcard there in the process. And yes if you are wondering I DO need that soundcard.. I connect my cable box up to my soundcard via optical input and listen to TV over my 5.1 speakers, which I figured was better than using the video card's HDMI through TV shitty speakers lol

Interesting. I was actually pretty disappoint to learn that the BluRay system can't rip cds and that it comes coupled with a regular red light used to read cds/dvds. I was kinda figuring that with the increased accuracy in its tracking system and such that it would be able to rip cds better or possibly read damaged sections.

Interesting. I was actually pretty disappoint to learn that the BluRay system can't rip cds and that it comes coupled with a regular red light used to read cds/dvds.
The same applies to DVD drives as well. You need a laser wavelength of 650 nm for DVD media, and 780 nm for CD media. So either you use a laser with tunable wavelength (expensive and difficult to miniaturize), or you just add two lasers. I've yet to see a drive which uses the first option.

That's cool.

I just got a pair of SteelSeries 9H headphones myself.

It's not a super audiophile headset but it's pretty decent for the price.

Most headphones have unfortunately too much bass, that's why I would never buy headphones without prior to test.
I have only cheap headphones, Philips SHP 1900. Well, It's okay...

If you don't like too much bass on your headphones but still like quality you should definitely check out Sennheiser and their HD598. It's this pair of headphones I use currently and it's really worth the 190 Euro Price I paid some 3-4 years ago.
It's very well graded on Head-Fi too :3

So I have a question concerning lossless quality... Does the raw file itself need to be ripped from the original disc and converted to a lossless format, or would any higher-grade format, such as Flac, count?

I'm asking because of a surprise to share here later (well, half-surprise, since it was uploaded here before but then taken down) and can't help but wonder if, by the typical expert opinion, the lossless source depends on the CD quality.

I'm not sure I understand. If you have the CD, then use this guide to rip it: Thread 91868
Make sure the "Error recovery quality" is set to "High" if you're concerned about your CD's condition.

FLAC stands for "Free Lossless Audio Codec," so it is a lossless format, not a "higher-grade" format.

Is it anyone interested in another rip of Eternal Arcadia Original Soundtrack (http://vgmdb.net/album/124) ? It was previously shared at the first Lossless VGM thread. But according to the uploader, it has the possibility to be a botleg. I can't say if the version that I got isn't a botleg too. The only thing that I can say about it is that they aren't the same rip. I downloaded it from a private torrent website a long time ago...^-^

[CENTER]Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow & Dawn of Sorrow Soundtrack // Various ArtistsAren't these the ones that were recorded from line-out leading to shitty sound quality? Might be better to track down a gamerip in this case.

Might have to check, the tracks from those games that I listen to I took from a "Castlevania Best Music Collections Box" rip. ^_^"

Edit: Alright gave the Collection Box and the one I posted earlier a listen, they are the same. Both are very much noise-heavy, since I never played the game with a headset I couldn't say if it's supposed to sound like this.
Now you opened a box somewhere in my head and I can't close it till I know :O

Edit2: Listened to a gamerip from Aria of Sorrow and I can definitely say the sound from "Castlevania Aria of Sorrow & Dawn of Sorrow Soundtrack" and the Castlevania Boxset are shitty in comparison to a gamerip !
But the Dawn of Sorrow sound from the same albums is top notch.

OmegaBlade

It is a pity that all the older CV games on the GBA had crap audio which was directly used in the Soundtracks but thank GOD the Nintendo DS games have awesome soundtracks. There is no soundtrack for AoS that sounds good, other than a remastered gamerip AFMG has done on this forum if you look for it

Aria of Sorrow isn't too bad, and Harmony of Dissonance is an inspired design choice.
Unfortunately, the album release somehow makes them sound worse than they actually are.

Yeah that is correct. The songs are all great especially The Purgatory Arena, Clock Tower and Can't Wait until night but I would have thought the songs would be cleaned up or arranged a little in the Soundtracks. Thankfully with the next wave of soundtracks they have improved the recording quality tremendously. I even enjoyed Circle of the Moon music but wish they had a clean recording :(

Hello there iammelivewithit

You'll need to clear your browser cache. If you do not want to do that - you could use a download manager program like Jdownloader || Mipony || MegaDownloader. Jdownloader probably the best followed by MegaDownloader, the new Mipony is just tits up bad.
Also MegaDownloader is the lightest program of all three, unlike the others after downloading the installer, will still need to download from their individual servers for full installation.

Actually it's simple :)

Look at the log files from the rip here (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/lossless-video-game-soundtrack-thread-links-first-64743/163.html#post1407694) and the one you posted, they're the exact same. (It was originally ripped as range, and the files you uploaded are splitted tracks from this same bootleg rip).

Having said that, the only real difference between the legitimate release and this bootleg seems to be a different pressing offset (the sound quality isn't affected), but I guess it's still better to have the real one since it's available.

Thanks, although another was available already, it was in ALAC, I'm more used to FLAC.
Don't blame Nintendo, if Europe is getting less from Nintendo is because Nintendo gets the least from Europe, it's the market in which is doing worse. It will probably go to the eShop, hopefully uncut.

The new ones are higher bitrate for video, but instead of flac for audio, i changed it to ac3.. figured if you are watching something you won't hear jack shit difference.. at least with 1000 more bitrate for visual you can actually SEE the difference. It keeps near same file size too. So yes replace them if you can.

Hey guys thanks for all the rips!

I just have a simple question.

I noticed that when the rips are uploaded, they also include the CUE file. Now, the soundtracks themselves are in image format, rather than FLAC or mp3 inherently. What I was wondering is, on EAC, is it possible to somehow load up the CUE file to EAC with the image mounted so that EAC will automatically detect all the pertinent information on the track, such as file name, album name, artist, etc., without me having to manually edit each and every sound file? Because at the moment, I mount the image file, and then open up EAC, but I still have to put in the file and title names on each track manually.

I mean, I don't mind doing it manually, but if I can save myself time and effort by somehow making that process automated by the generated CUE file, then it would help me immensely! Thank you!

Nintendo FAMICOM MUSIC (http://vgmdb.net/album/41635)

FLAC/Log/Cue/Personal Rip

Released last year is this nice compilation of music from Nintendo developed games for their system, the famous Famicom. First disc is cartridge based games and the second is from Famicom Disk games. A lot of these tracks have been previously available, but it's a beautiful sounding master and honestly, I bought it mostly for Famicom Wars, which hasn't been available on CD previously (I could be wrong).

My gripes with it are that each game is ONE TRACK (so expect 15 minute tracks for later Famicom titles) and no American alternate tracks for Zelda II. But the Blu-Spec mastering is incredible and sounds better than the Famicom 20th anniversary CDs from ten years ago. Let's cross out fingers for a sequel CD with Fire Emblem, Joy Mecha Fight or Punch-Out!.

Last thought: where the hell are the SNES and Gameboy anniverary CDs? Gameboy games seem most neglected of all in terms of available CDs. Get on it, Nintendo! I'll buy them all!

And again, I would've loved to include scans, but I don't have a scanner yet. *sigh* And please forgive me, I didn't name the folder as I usually do with year of release or catalog number.

I use foobar for that.

I just right click the cue file and play it in foobar.

After that I highlight all the songs, right click them in foobar, go to the convert option and then use that to split them into individual FLAC files.

Somebody asked for this in the requests forum, so I'm just gonna put it here as well.

These were made using psf files I tracked down on the internet.

I'm also including an extra song that I was able to rip from an image of Lunar Silver Star Story Complete.

The Lunar 2 Rip has all tracks except for Eternal Blue [Rondo-Light And Shadow], Lucia's Theme, and Star Dragon Theme ['95 Mix].

Luckily these three are included in the soundtrack that came with the game, which logi74 has already kindly provided links to.

(Alternatively, click "Database" -> "Get CD information from" -> Remote metadata provider".)

If it's for a rip you've downloaded then do as Uvogin suggests and get CueTools; this way you can split the image (if you prefer individual tracks) and the cue will be changed to reflect this.

These were made using psf files I tracked down on the internet.

At least share the PSF file too. Converting to FLAC doesn't make these sound any better; just makes the file size bloated.

Lunar 1 - Silver Star Story - PSF - PlayStation Music - Zophar's Domain (http://www.zophar.net/music/psf/lunar-1-silver-star-story.html)
Lunar 2 - Eternal Blue - PSF - PlayStation Music - Zophar's Domain (http://www.zophar.net/music/psf/lunar-2-eternal-blue.html)

(If you don't know how to play this file type; Use Foobar2000 (http://www.foobar2000.org/download) with the PSF plug-in (http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_psf))

I can understand how some people might want to listen to tracks from those game-rips on something that can't play PSF files. Thus the need of a FLAC rip as it helps in keeping either the synth instruments or the streamed music as close to the ingame quality as possible.
(as I understand it, in the case of streamed music, encoding it to MP3 would take even more information out of the already-degraded music)

Hey guys thanks for your help!

I had one last question: which program is the best for converting FLAC to 320kbs MP3 with VBR? I used many different programs, but none of them retained the tag information, nor album cover, for each file. I'm hoping one of you guys know which program to use for such a cause.

I use dbpoweramp. It retains tagging, you can batch convert easily, has multi-encoding options if you have multiple target formats, a great dynamic folder system and shell integration.

Personally, I would recommend this program: Free Audio Converter, Best MP3 Audio Converter (http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-Audio-Converter.htm#.UxPZkeM7um4)

It features a list of various MP3 qualities, including three VBR variations, which are accessed through the dropdown menu as seen in the sample picture (it says WMA, but MP3 is really the default quality after download). You only have to choose the quality you want and hit Convert to change it from Flac to MP3. It also saves all of the tag information provided that it's pre-listed. Can't vouch for the album cover transferring over, too, but it more or less copies everything from the file, so it assuredly does the same with artwork.

I don't want to sound pedantic here but I do use WinAMP for my music and DSP Plug-ins (like stereo-tool), foobar2000 has never been for me due the interface being excedelly simple. (although for format conversion I really like foobar2000)

320kbs MP3 with VBR

This (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=103431) is the only LAME implementation so far that supports the new Constraint VBR mode up to 320kbps well.

Otherwise (ie. you just meant CBR) you'd better learn not to misuse tech terms and confuse people.

I was a long-time Winamp user myself, but then came the announcement of it shutting down (which ultimately didn't happen) and I gave foobar2000 a try.

For me, only one thing is important: Browsing my folders easily. Winamp started having a folder browser which would reset each time I would open it, which wasn't the case before.
Then came foobar2000 and its "Library" option. Not only can I tell the program to check only specific folders containing my music, but it will show the contents of these folders-only. No more opening of subfolders!
I never looked back.

I was a die-hard Winamp fan quite some time ago but made the switch to Foobar. Love the customisation you can do with it and all the numerous plugins which update regularly. Plays music great using the WASAPI audio driver.

I have never looked back as well. I was only concerned with a lack of vgmstream plugin update but very recently it was updated, so over the moon :-)

Just looking at all the splitting recommendations and wanted to throw in my 2 cents. Cuetools is the most accurate, and Foobar is the easiest. I'm probably opposite most people, I love image/cue rips. I do all my rips that way because to me they are the closest thing to a "virtual CD", since a CD is just a big block of audio with an index. Cuetools can go both ways, so I use it to join together separate track rips. It references the same AccurateRip database that EAC verifies your rips against. So if you download a rip and aren't sure of the source, it can check your rip for accuracy and generate a cue sheet if you don't have one.

The only problem I've found is that AccurateRip relies on popularity, so some of the super obscure video game soundtracks that all of us here love don't have information in the database.

When I want an MP3 copy for my phone or something, I throw the cue sheet in Foobar and just hit convert, nice and simple.

It took me like 20? times to download it via MEGA as costantly stopped, error retrying, freezing and SUPER slow speeds compared with any other MEGA download, Strange but finally it worked last night although it stopped at 100% I closed the page and checked the location it was being saved to and luckily I could extract the file. That link definitely has some issues. A new link may help?

Firefox 27.0.1 and I download music from MEGA since most links here are MEGA ones and I never had a problem before. I regularly clear cache and still that didn't help with that particular link.

Was probably some bad luck or the gods not wanting me to have it at the time but all other links work fine so not really a problem overall.

Funny ennough I originally tried normally and then tried again with the extension but the same thing still happened. No other links had issues,
I manually told the extension to save to my D Drive and so if it gets stuck again @ 100% I will just close the tab and open the file from the D Drive.

But yeah the problem previously wouldn't let me reach anywhere near 100% constantly but seems to have gone away.

I just thought it was odd.

Can I ask something?
These CUE files, how important they are?

Usually, I can open a CUE file with foobar.
If I change the name of the track, that won't do.
But I know that I with foobar which can create CUE file.

I digress, so what I know is that a CUE file is needed to split FLAC files (If there is one, where are all the tracks in a file).
But what still?

It's also useful when you need 2 (or more) sets of tags, for instance English tags and Japanese tags. So in one Cue you have English tags, and in another you have Japanese ones.

Hmmmm, I know they are important especially when using a digital player ( fiio x 3) it splits up like u said, some players dont read a whole .flac format and spilts them unless they are already separated, just the same with .ape formats better to have one then not at all for information sake. But without one lets say the smash bros brawl ost like mario.flac it would play the file like it was whole, over 1 hours and xx mins. Or put it like this. A cue sheet, or cue file, is a metadata file which describes how the tracks of a CD or DVD are laid out and what eleriaqueen said.

But I know that I with foobar which can create CUE file.

I digress, so what I know is that a CUE file is needed to split FLAC files (If there is one, where are all the tracks in a file).
But what still?CUE sheets describe the track layout of CDs. In particular they contain details on when a track starts and the gaps that exist between tracks. Without a CUE sheet you lose the information on gaps, and you can't accurately reproduce a CD if you choose to burn a copy. Of note, when ripping a CD you have to perform extra steps to get the gap data.

Note that there are a few different kinds (by kind I mean the structure of how the CUE file is laid out) of CUE files that you can create when ripping a CD. With a single FLAC file that has all the tracks there's just one way that it will be written. But with multiple FLAC files there are three different ways based on how you rip the CD. You can either leave the gaps out of FLAC files, append the gap to the end of the previous track, or append the gap to the beginning of the next track. Appending gaps to the end of the previous track is generally recommended if you want a rip with separated tracks, and this method produces a non-standard CUE file, which foobar doesn't support and if you try to add the CUE you'll just end up with a ? that won't play. If you want to read more about this, EAC Ripping Guide (http://blowfish.be/eac/Rip/rip14-cuesheets.html) does a good job at explaining it.

While the above was their intended purpose, as mentioned above I suppose they could be useful if you wanted multiple sets of tags as mentioned above.

If you find yourself renaming the file names and wanting the to use the CUE files, you could use CUETools (http://www.cuetools.net/wiki/Main_Page). Using it with "corrrect filenames" will easily fix your CUEs. Also, if you have a single file FLAC and want to split it CueTools is a better choice than foobar as it'll create a proper a multitrack CUE for you if want to keep this information.

Furthermore, if you foobar is your player of choice, you can just embed the cue file instead of splitting your FLAC file. To do this you add your FLAC file, right click on it, and navigate to Utilities -> Edit cuesheet. From here just drag the CUE file into the dialog that appears, click okay, and when you re-add your file it'll be as if you have it split into separate files (personally I prefer this method, and then I just tell foobar to ignore the actual CUE files in the media library).

Password is FFSHRINE4EV3|2

Oh BTW, there is 1 mistake i noticed with the naming, Song 19 on Disc 2 of DoA3 should be --> 19. Look Ahead [ハヤブサ].flac and NOT 19. Look Ahead [ハヤブササエンディング].flac as for some reason 2 tracks were both labelled as Hayabusa endings.

Today I got an "Import Fees" bill from FedEx pertaining to my last import (Rockman X Sound Box + Valkyrie Profile Covenant of the Plume OST) asking for the normal VAT rate of 19.6% + "Additional Fees" which are 10 euro + taxes on those fees which are ~1 euro.
Total was ~38 Euro, on a ~130 Euro order.
The site I bought from was CDJapan.
It's crazy that they add those "Additional Fees" which I guess are proportional to the total order value, I mean It's not my fault CDJapan doesn't work with the Customs Offices to include VAT when I order.
And what's more they wanted that money within 10 business days !
FedEx are assholes.

@ eleriaqueen : NEVER ever us an integrator, like Fedex, UPS or DHL.
Those express companies have some privilege (Tha's why they are so fast to clear through customs ..).. but in return, Fedex, ups or DHL will do the job of the civil servant : collect import taxes..

Instead, use national postal companies: I know it's not a very fast service, but most of the time you won't pay import taxes....

Yeah, I always used "Registered SAL" with CDJapan and I never had to pay import taxes (that I can remember :p). The only time I've paid import tax from Japan was when I ordered two PVC figures from HobbySearch.

They charge VAT on top of the normal customs fee you pay? Thats crazy. I have never paid VAT on any of my orders from Japan. Just a customs charge. I've used AmiAmi, HLJ and cdjapan for reference.

Thanks Megashi, I started downloading the rip you posted because torrents are so slow for me anyway ! :D

Edit : There's one file which is being difficult (Temporary Error, Retrying...)
I'll keep retrying for a while.

Edit 2: Alright every file downloaded fine. Thanks again :3
That being said, Megashi, usually people use Winrar to pack the files together (rar format, with no compression!) and more importantly we check "Add Recovery Record" and then set it to 3 or 5 % of the file size.
This helps a lot because with winrar you can check the integrity of files inside the archive and if errors occured during the downloading process, they can often be fixed with the recovery record.

With the way you uploaded your files I first had to check on the internet that FLAC files indeed stored file integrity metadata, then I downloaded AudioTester and all files passed the test meaning their integrity was kept intact during the download.

I have a question which might beget a quite lengthy response but I need to know so here I go :
Is there a "proper" way to split a "single file rip + cue" into "multiple files + cue".
I mean I know what software to use, I've used CueTools, Foobar2000 but there's a slight problem, the Log file points to a absent file(dot)flac then. If I keep it and split the soundtrack then people might think I slapped a valid log file in there to fool them.
That's why up to now, I've been keeping the rips "as is" in Rar files.

Honestly, the log files are meaningless if you're savvy enough to use Cuetools. It will re-verify the rip against the accuraterip database and it won't matter what the log file says. As you suggested, a log file is just a text file and is easy to fake anyway. The only way to truly confirm that a rip is perfect is to check it against accuraterip with cuetools. I'm a big fan of that tool :D It has helped me decide to keep or delete many rips from dubious sources.

eleriaqueen
03-10-2014, 09:45 PM
If an album is not in the database or too few rips to deem it accurate, Log file is the only way to know a rip is good. (btw I think newer EAC logs have a CRC which is incredibly hard to fake). Also I believe most closed Lossless sharing site demand perfect logfiles. (Due to my very low upload speed I 'm member of none of these trackers)
As a result a lot of people outside of those circles are also "log-hungry". So by not keeping log files I would be alienating a good chunk of lossless-enthusiasts I could share the music I got with :(

Accurate rip should always be taken with a grain of salt. It's main purpose is for giving you confidence that you've ripped the disc correctly according to the same standards that everyone else uses. As Hellacia? would remind us though, your read offsets are aren't entirely accurate themselves since each disc has its own write offset when being printed. The lossless discussion thread has more info iirc

@Despair
We need Gorilla-glass-coated discs. :P
To its credit, the BluRay coating seems to be pretty strong for its purpose, so long as the disc is manufactured correctly so no disc rot, but a smashed disc is still a smashed disc, and I'm thinking they can still be warped if left in high temperatures with direct sunlight. So still a long ways to go from being ultra secure, especially when windows facks up in burning cds/dvds every so often

If you skip to 28:45 in this video: Books of Ys II Episode 4 English Dub - Anime English Dubbed (http://www.dubbedepisodes.org/books-of-ys-ii-episode-4-english-dub) you will hear Endless History from the Ancient Books of Ys anime. The versions that have been released on various soundtracks so far all have an outro that fades with a guitar solo like this: Falcom Live 2007 Original Sounds - 209 - Endless History - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oPO-APzPPs)

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the version used in the credits for the Ancient Books of Ys Book II Episode 4 as linked above as it would be good to know where to find a version that has that proper ending and not just a fade out (which is still pretty cool BTW)

Yeah, man. I'll never forget the day that Blackjesuschristos (http://forums.ffshrine.org/members/blackjesuschristos-422952) uploaded the Castlevania BOX's DVD to me, he's very kind. I found some links to it some time ago, can't remember when, but they were all dead. Well... I still have hope, it's a great concert, and have the whole show in video is one thing my collection needs, like the S.S.T. Band Live! -G.S.M.
