SUMMARY
Mycelium superficial, hyaline to pale brown.
Conidiomata pycnidia, 40-105 µm long and 30-50 µm diam., very variable in shape, globose or elongate to pyriform, sometimes papillate, pale brown, without a distinct ostiole, dehiscence by irregular rupture of the apical part. Conidiomatal wall composed of pale brown angular cells, usually only a single cell thick. Conidiophores absent. Conidiogenous cells formed directly from the wall cells, 4.5-5.5 µm diam., doliiform to ampulliform, proliferating percurrently, sometimes with a minute collarette, periclinal thickening sometimes visible. Conidia 4-6.5 x 2-2.5 µm, hyaline to very pale brown, bacillar to ± cylindrical with rounded ends, sometimes slightly curved, aseptate, hyaline, thin- and smooth-walled, without a gelatinous sheath.
