SUMMARY
Colonies white to pale yellow, floccose, overgrowing other fungi.
Anamorph: conidiomata absent. Conidiophores arising singly or rarely in pairs from the superficial mycelium, 70-140 µm long, 2-5 µm diam. at the base and 2-3.5 µm near the apex, unbranched, hyaline, smooth or irregularly warted and thin-walled. Conidiogenous cells terminal and in verticillate whorls of 4-7, to 30 µm in length and 2-3 µm diam., sometimes slightly inflated at the apex, proliferating sympodially, the conidia formed from clusters of very conspicuous peg-like projections that may extend down the conidiogenous cell. Conidia dry, 4-6 x 1.5-2 (-2.5) µm, ovoid, tapering somewhat towards the basal scar, aseptate, hyaline, fairly thin-walled, smooth, without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.
Teleomorph: not known.
