SUMMARY
Mycelium hyaline, superficial.
Anamorph: conidiomata absent. Conidiophores 250-1500 µm long and 4-10 µm diam., not synnematous, broad, erect, septate, hyaline, smooth, thin-walled, rarely branched. Conidiogenous cells terminal, usually becoming intercalary by continuous or percurrent proliferation or by percurrent regeneration, hyaline, smooth, thin-walled, globose, producing conidia from swollen terminal or intercalary swellings 10-18 µm diam. and 7-17 µm thick, usually with 8-12 fertile loci. Conidia 10-22 x 6-12 µm, obovoid to ellipsoidal, aseptate, hyaline, smooth, produced singly, the base with a conspicuous denticle formed by rhexolytic secession.
Teleomorph: not known.
