Christian Thomas

Christian Thomas joined the Harvard men's lacrosse staff as the director of lacrosse operations in August of 2023. 

A 2021 graduate of Merrimack College, Thomas will be joining the Crimson on his second stop in the collegiate coaching ranks. A Massachusetts native, Thomas will take over the director of lacrosse operations role for Harvard.
 
Most recently, Thomas served on the staff at his alma mater as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2023 season, helping Merrimack to a seven-win season, the highest total for the program since making the jump to Division I in 2020.
 
Thomas has also coached in the 4Leaf Lacrosse Club program for six years, coaching all age groups from 4th grade through high school. With 4Leaf, Thomas helped players develop their skills and lacrosse IQ by organizing practice plans and instructing at youth camps.
 
A three-time team captain at Merrimack, Thomas starred as a student-athlete for the Warriors. One of the most prolific goal scorers in Merrimack lacrosse history, Thomas finished his five-year career at no. 4 on the all-time scoring list at the school. Thomas led a dominant attack unit that helped the Warriors win back-to-back Division II National Titles in 2018 and 2019. In the 2018 title game, Thomas collected 10 points in the to earn the National Championship Game MVP award.
 
A 2019 DII All-American, Thomas was twice named to NEILA All-New England Teams and was named to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team in 2019 and the NE10 All-Rookie Team in 2018.
