Biography

Brandt receive a B.S. in Biology from the College of William and Mary (1983). He earned a doctor of Medicine from from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1988. Following his MD degree he completed a 3 year residency in Pediatrics (1991) at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center, followed by a 3 year fellowship in pediatric nephrology (1995) and a MPH (1996) in Epidemiology from University of Washington School of Medicine.

Personal Statement

Dr. Brandt practices pediatric nephrology in the UNM Hospital system and teaches nephrology in the UNM school of medicine. His areas of research interest include hemolytic uremic syndrome and chronic kidney disease in children.
