     Larger than all other white egret. Dagger shaped bill and 'S" like curved neck. Black legs tinted with red in breeding. Yellow bill turns to black in breeding. Breeding plumes over the back. Lores yellow or slightly greenish yellow turns to blue in breeding plumage. Gape extends behind the eye. Size: 65-72cm
