    Description

    Colour: pale testaceous yellow, with head of female, extremities of tibiae, tarsi and extreme margins of clypeus, pronotum, scutellum and elytra brown. Size: smooth and shining, moderately elongate, eyes large, clypeus small, densely and rugosely punctate. Head: finely and closely punctate. Pronotum: finely and rather closely punctate, with sides rounded, front angles acute, hind angles very obtuse and base finely margined. Scutellum: minutely punctate and each elytron bears 7 finely punctate and not very deeply impressed dorsal striae, 2nd disrupted at base. Pygidium: deeply and rather rugosely punctate; protibiae armed with 3 teeth, uppermost very feeble; metatibiae very short and stout; longer claw of protarsi cleft; in males, head pale, eyes very large, and longer proclaw unequally cleft.
