The Rock is back, and he is in a mood to cook up a storm. After days of speculation that a ‘former’ WWE campion would return on Monday Night Raw, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made his smashing return to the ring in San Diego, much to the excitement of his fans.

It began with ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ Jinder Mahal criticizing the United States and its politics when he was interrupted by The Rock. “From tonight and from hereon, you are not The Modern Day Maharaja, no. You are the ‘Day One D**chebag,” The Rock said, as crowd started repeating the same: Day One Douchebag.

The Rock also took a dig at his own film, the 2017 action-comedy Baywatch, which also starred Priyanka Chopra. “If you were one of The Rock’s movies, you would probably be Baywatch,” he said to Mahal as the audience burst out laughing. “Thankfully I have never seen Baywatch,” Mahal said as The Rock interrupted, “Well nobody else did it either so shut your mouth.”

The Rock then sang a custom rendition of the United States National Anthem to Mahal, as things started getting heating up, with the former launching an attack on the Hollywood star, with punches and kicks.

But before Mahal could capitalise on his first move attack, The Rock swung into action, deploying his trademark moves–using the spinebuster to get Mahal down and finally finishing the face off with The People’s Elbow.

Festive offer

The Rock then picked the mic again to address the fans, who were cheering for him. “I am a little hungry,” he said and involved the audience with his very specific query. “When I go out tonight to eat, should The Rock sit in a booth, at the bar or, at The Head of the Table?” hinting at a fight against Roman Reigns.

The moment The Rock said the last line, the crowd couldn’t stop cheering knowing very well what was coming. According to a report in the Wrestling Inc, Roman Reigns versus Dwayne The Rock Johnson has “long reportedly been the proposed endgame of the former’s current run as ‘The Head of the Table'”. Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship for over 1,000 days now.
