The Ark is an intresting movie to talk about. This is due to the history of censorship this movie has recieved.
It isn't hard to see why. The uncensored version contains pole dancing, sexual humor, and other adult themes that are quite unusual for a seemingly kid friendly animated movie with a christian slant to it. This in brazil might have been an adult animated feature and the people behind original dub knew about that fact , however the marketers didn't and released it straight to video as something little jimmy can watch with the whole family. Thankfully, Shout Factory did redub the movie and cut the inappropiate scenes and reworded the dialouge talking about stuff like girl's boob sizes.…
