Beaulieu Management

Friends have used Beaulieau and have recommended to other friends. Their maintenance has always been very good. No complaints. Kudos.

Annoyed with them.. I wrote a long paragraph essentially about how much I was annoyed but pics speak for themselves. Unfortunately my video wouldn't upload but I'll give it another shot. I understand there's multiple residents and issues can't be handled immediately, but I don't really even feel like they care. I get attitude, no responses for hours and/or days. In the beginning I felt OK about their services but on year 3 and an issue every year, I don't feel much of anything. I even rephrased this to sound nicer when I shouldn't have. Just disappointed.

-Moved in apartment was not cleaned upon arrival.
-Bug issues immediately and over years (ants by toilet, rollie pollies, centipedes, spiders, roaches)
-ceiling leak
-yellow water (old plumbing)
-delivery issues
-Washing machines leaves dirt on clothes (not being washed out)

Needless to say... I wouldn't recommend this management. Good location, nice apartments, but older building needs maintenance and more ppl on staff. Can't have 1 guy do everything.

Had a horrible time living here. Management could care less. Constantly had problems with our radiators emitting heat, and when we would contact them, it would take weeks to get a response....unless we reported them to the city, then we would get an immediate visit, followed by weeks of empty promises. Last winter, our apartment was consistently at 65 degrees, or lower, which is well below the legal limit.

On top of that, floor boards would break, and it would take weeks to fix. Washers and Dryers were constantly "under maintenance."

I also find it funny that their yelp name/profile keeps changing, so it's hard to find previous reviews.

​I am a current tenant and this has been my best rental experience in Chicago. What I am the most impressed with is the maintenance department. I go online, put a request and generally the day of or the next day, the task is done. I have NEVER had that experience ! I have had bad experiences before and I know how it feels to have to fight to get something done ( I used to rent from Beal) so I appreciate living in a place where things get done and my phone calls get returned promptly. Besides that, the garden is nicely taken care of , the buildings are reasonably cleaned and the apartment Is reasonably priced.
I recommend this place!

I moved to Chicago extremely last minute for work in August 2016. I had 9 hours to find an apartment and 3 days to move in due to work obligations. Not knowing where I was in the city at all I can honestly say I picked the ideal apartment complex. I have been so impressed with not only the property manager, Thomas, but the maintenance personnel as well- especially Vaughn. The property always looks immaculate, my questions and concerns are always taken care of within 24 hours at the most (usually within the hour if not sooner), my neighbors are quiet and respectful, there are reasonable and appropriate property rules keeping everyone safe, and paying rent could not be easier or more secure. Everyone who I have had the pleasure of working with and meeting living here for 10 months has been friendly, supportive, considerate, and attentive. I will definitely be staying here another year!
