Create a flurry of insect activity with this outstanding nectar plant. Hairy mountain mint attracts a fantastic variety of beneficial wasps, bees, native flies, butterflies, beetles and others. Edible flowers can be used as a garnish, and the aromatic leaves make a very nice tea. While it can grow in full sun and dry conditions, some afternoon shade and a little extra water will help the plant thrive.
