It will still be able to support your drop foot.\n\n(4) Tighten the straps optimally, such that the straps are not too tight or not too loose, for the best comfort.\n\n(5) You may have to remove the insole from the shoe you want to use it with. If your foot tends to swell a bit, then it is advisable to get shoes that are about 1 or 2 sizes bigger. Try first with your normal sports shoes/sandals.
