I have the old heavy weave DEF gi, I think it’s 6 years old. This new pearl weave is amazingly light and feels great. I love everything Origin and they have not made a bad product yet that I own.

This is my first gi from Origin, and I'm very happy with it so far. The jacket cleaned-up really well upon washing it after my first training session.
I like that the white gi looks nice and simple, which we use in my academy as affiliates with Gracie Humaita. The DEF embroidery, the Origin logo, and the Get After It stitching on the back all make the gi distinct from the norm, but in a more muted fashion.
The jacket feels light compared to my other cotton tops. It did not seem to breathe as much as my others, but perhaps that might change after a few more uses and trips to the washing machine.
The fit, feel, function, and overall aesthetics of this uniform were definitely what I hoped for.
