Arachnids (Spider) (Arachnida/Araneae)
Arachnids, which include spiders and many other insects, also have complex, but relatively similar endocrine systems to other animals. The digestive gland produces enzymes and hormones that aid in digestion of food. The silk glands secrete chemicals that form spider silk. The poison gland secretes poison for the venomous spider, and, as usual, the ovaries and testes are there for reproductive and hormonal purposes relating to gender. Spiders use their venomous glands to kill their prey, and their silk gland to trap their prey.
