Description
Honey bees are important pollinators worldwide and are also kept for honey production and crop pollination. It stings can happen unintentionally while walking or collecting flowers, fruit, or vegetables. Honey bees are generally not aggressive, but honeybees can sting in groups to defend their hive, and Africanized honeybees are known to be highly aggressive. While honey bees do not transmit diseases, severe allergic reactions can occur from honeybee stings.
