Used to be a rather common species throughout Belgium, but nowadays becomes very rare, although the food plant is very common throughout our country.
Native
Hibernates as a pupa underground.
They are attracted to light.
The adults fly in probably two generations a year from late March till mid-August with a peak during May.
The larva lives on Cytisus scoparius.
Mainly heathland, open forests and shrubs, sometimes railway embankments and road verges.
