St. Albert the Great has a large selection of gently used boys and girls uniforms that are available at a discounted rate. Phone the office at 708-424-7757 to arrange a time to view this collection.

Family School Association - FSA

The Family and School Association is an organization of the school dedicated to collaboration between parents, guardians and members of the school and parish staff in the pursuit of quality, faith-centered education.  The FSA will support our school children through a wide variety of fun, community building activities, as well as fundraising.

The FSA was started in 2016 and has already had a huge impact on the St. Albert the Great community. Our parents unite to raise funds and build community through a wide variety of program for our students.

Some of their activities include:

The GREAT Event
End of Year - FUN FAIR... and much more!!

 

Volunteer Opportunities

  • • Attend monthly FSA meetings
    • Write a monthly newsletter summarizing upcoming FSA events

  • • Attend FSA meetings
    • Plan monthly fundraising dinner nights
    • Plan other miscellaneous fundraisers as needed

  • • One member of committee attends FSA meetings when needed
    • Attend separate Great Event Planning Meetings
    • Request donations for Raffle Baskets
    • Plan the Great Event Dinner Event

  • • One member of committee attends FSA meetings when needed
    • One member of committee attends Parish Council Meetings as FSA representative
    • Assist with planning parish fundraising events (e.g. Carnival, Harvest Fest)

  • • One member of committee attends FSA meetings when needed
    • Plan student activities during school year (Halloween Dance, Trunk or Treat, Reindeer Games, Fun Fair, St. Nick Day, etc)

  • • One member of committee attends FSA meetings when needed
    • Plan teacher appreciation events throughout school year (Christmas Luncheon, Teacher Appreciation Week, etc)

  • • One member of committee attends FSA meetings when needed
    • Manage the Facebook page for raffles
    • Distribute prizes to winners

  • Work with the teacher and plan two classroom parties per school year (Halloween and Valentine's Day)
