Amid pencils, notebooks and paperclips standing in for architectural decor, Derrick Lin brings his imagination to life under the light of a desk lamp. Every scene he creates has a personal and yet relatable emotion and story behind it that may be familiar to you. With his attention to detail and style, Derrick breathe nostalgia, positivity, and hope into his unique storytelling.

Gaspard Mitz

In his Box Stories, Gaspard Mitz playfully stages miniature figurines in situations that are sometimes amusing and sometimes poetic. He invents custom-made prospects for them, makes multiple nods to art history, and captures comical situations.
Decorative display boxes, such as music boxes, cuckoo clocks, or the works of the American artist Joseph Cornell, inspired him to tell stories in a different way, other than with words or drawings. An admirer of the Japanese aesthetic sense, he creates worlds that are understated and stripped-down, like his selection of materials (wood, foam board, paper), which he allows to guide him in his work, as he learns by doing.

Jasenko Đorđević

Working under the pseudonym ToldArt, Bosnian artist Jasenko Đorđević sculpts micro-monuments, characters, and works of art into pencil lead.
He has been fascinated by miniatures since childhood, when he would create tiny books (5mm) and micro-origami.
Now graphite, which is both hard and fragile and leaves no room for error, has become Jasenko Đorđević's preferred material. Here, pencils are not only a tool, a means for creating artwork, but become the work itself.

Nicolas Guerin

Nicolas Guerin reproduces castles and stately mansions on a 1:12 scale.
As a child, he would craft miniature buildings to house his toys. Today he is an interior designer with a passion for the history of France, and enjoys recreating the decors and atmospheres of the past in miniature.
He models, moulds, cuts, and paints works of a hyperrealism that carries the viewer away to these amazing places.

Le Mini di Claudia

The Italian artist Claudia lives in Puglia, a few kilometers from Bari, and expresses herself with panache on a 1:12 scale.
She first fell in love with doll houses around twenty years ago. Ever since then, she has been building, shaping, and creating, applying that traditional scale, so dear to her heart, to all that she sees around her.
She works with wood and Fimo clay, using a number of techniques to make miniature environments scrupulously faithful to reality.
Creating under the stage name ‘Le mini di Claudia,’ she shares with us her enthusiasm and passion for miniaturized scenes and miniature cuisine.

Marie Cohydon

With her miniature scalpel and acupuncture needles in hand and her eye on the microscope, Marie Cohydon sculpts wild animals and birds using materials including hardened glue, hair, brush hair and water-based paint.

Hannah Levesque

Hannah Levesque calls herself a “builder of scale models of emotions.” Her unique know-how, which combines the rigour of architecture with the beauty of the landscapes, is rooted entirely in the use of paper. Working with an inventory of more than 400 types of paper items in various colours and textures, the model designer set her sights on this material because of its delicacy, subtlety and poetry.

Ana Sofia Casaverde

Ana Sofia is a self-taught miniaturist and designer.
She creates paper sculptures that can be cranes, characters from famous films or paintings, in which she tries to synthesise the details on a very small scale.
It is the simple things in life, those that bring us small moments of joy, that Ana Sofia has chosen to represent. She spends many hours of meticulous work skillfully combining colour, shapes, textures and even shadows in a harmonious and organic way.
Better known as 'Galletita de jengibre', she took up the challenge of an international project to make one origami a day for a year, which was exhibited in Lima, Peru.

Lisa Swerling

The South African born artist creates parallel worlds inside boxes, reflecting the poignancy, absurdity and beauty of our own.
Lisa’s miniature mise-en-scènes remind us that we are very small in a big world, but that we are also special beings. Vulnerable yet brave, insignificant at the same time as heroic.
Looking at ourselves in miniature proportions behind the glass, we can take a moment to stop, think, smile and celebrate the human condition together.

David Mansot

A cabinetmaker by training and an interior designer by profession, David Mansot is a passionate dreamer. A builder of imaginary worlds, he sketches his cabins in watercolor and builds them using recycled materials or materials collected in the forest, imagining which kindly and eccentric character might live there: a lighthouse keeper, a little old lady who paints pictures, a pilot of a strange flying machine…

Simon Laveuve

Having lived in the Parisian suburbs and become familiar with them, the artist Simon Laveuve developed a passion early in life for visible modes of expression, with their ability to reflect intrepid explorations of an environment that may so easily become hostile.
The artist imagines 'post-apocalyptic refuges,' unique lifelines and sanctuaries of survival in a world of noise and chaos. He takes a special interest in the architecture of cities, their spatial power, and the individuals who inhabit them, go into hiding in them, or commit themselves to them.
In a boundless poetry of lines, words and silences, Simon Laveuve expresses the erring ways of our time. Sharpening his gaze, he seeks out the unusual and incongruous, drawing his inspiration there.

The Paper Ark

Based in Ahmedabad, India, Nayan and Venus are an artistic duo specialized in miniature work, practicing paper arts involving cutting and layering techniques.
Casting a light both on the complexity and fragility of nature and on the beings that inhabit it, they challenge us to reflect on the conflict between humans and animals, and the need to protect the fauna and biodiversity of all ecosystems. They believe that the key to our future is in learning to live together with all living beings.
Between 2018 and 2020, they embarked on a project called '1000 days of miniature art', challenging themselves to create one work of art per day for 1000 days. Their boundless inspiration is a tribute to nature and our interaction with it.

Kiu Mini Art

Kiu's refined works take the form of tiny square portraits. She has a predilection for animals or items that call to mind pleasure and sweetness: a strawberry, a flower, a cookie, a bonsai… Made in gouache and watercolor, their purity strikes the viewer instantly.
