So everyone talks about how painful heels are. Well, some might be a little bit – and there is a trade off as heels are just, well, awesome.
Now, no one talks about flat shoes pain. They are meant to be comfortable. Right. But I will let you in to my little secret: I found comfort on the amazing Scholl Party Feet Invisible Gel Sore Spots.
Black flat pumps are a staple on my daily wardrobe – to go to work, to live in the cloakroom when I change into heels… But mainly, for running about and navigating around my busy life.
I find very hard to find a nice pair of plain black pumps; I like them with pointy toes, so they still look a bit elegant. My current Topshop ones are falling to pieces, so I was happy to find a suitable replacement at Office before they disintegrate.
However, I found the same problem I had with the current ones when they were new – they catch and rub sooo much on the back of the feet, more precisely on the achilles, and create the most disgusting, not to say painful, blisters.
The Scholl Party Feet Invisible Gel Sore Spots are small adhesive gel cushions to be applied on the inside of the shoes, where they rub you. I find them to be unobtrusive (as they are quite small) and easy to wear.
It does make the “breaking into” new pumps much easier. They don’t make the shoes tighter, as they are quite slim and the glue is pretty sturdy, so it stays in place but does not damage the shoes.
You can also use them to protect the bunion area and little toes spots that might be rubbing.
A pack of Party Feet Invisible Gel Sore Spots comes with six little gel cushions, which is very good value at £5 – and you can them from pretty much all major retailers, like Boots, Superdrug and Waitrose, countrywide.
This,,, I will surely buy….. with my new Mule heels when they finely arrive !!!! thanks Dani….

They are brilliant. Wear them in all my high heels and I suffer terribly with my bunions but can dance all night now in my evening shoes. The only problem is that they are hard to get hold of. Boots and Superdrug seem to have stopped selling them, but I have managed to get some on Amazon.

They are amazing. I suffer really badly with my bunions, but with these I can dance all night in my high heels! I have 3 in one pair of shoes! The only problem is that they are hard to get hold of. Boots and Superdrug seem to have stopped selling them, but I did manage to get some on Amazon.
