Terconazole is a prescription-strength antifungal cream used to treat vaginal yeast infections. Terconazole helps to alleviate burning, itching and discharge that is associated with the infection.

Used to treat uncomplicated vaginal yeast infections

Taken as 1 applicatorful inserted vaginally at bedtime for 3 days (0.8% cream) or 7 days (0.4% cream)

Treatment is unaffected by menstruation, but should not be used with vaginal products (e.g., tampons, douches)

Have not had a hypersensitivity reaction terconazole, other azole derivatives (e.g., fluconazole, miconazole, clotrimazole) or any component of its formulation
Am not pregnant or breastfeeding
Am using this medication as indicated for the treatment of vulvovaginal Candida yeast infection and confirmed via lab cultures and/or KOH smears
Understand this product is for vaginal use only, avoiding contact with eyes and mouth
Understand this product may weaken latex condoms and diaphragms
Understand this product may make progesterone less effective
Will discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity occurs or if I develop a fever, chills, or flu-like symptoms while using this medication
