Joeri van de Watering

Joeri van de Watering has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joeri is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Gizmo Cyber Group, a company that owns Guardey and GOOSE VPN, providing cybersecurity solutions. Joeri is also the CEO and Co-founder of Guardey, a plug & play cybersecurity solution to fight cybercrime.

Prior to these roles, Joeri was the CEO and Co-founder of GOOSE - Safe and limitless online, a Virtual Private Network that prioritizes internet safety. Joeri also served as the Managing Director of IWMM Holding B.V., and Co-founder and Director of FMTC Safety, a leading offshore, maritime, and wind industry safety training provider with multiple locations worldwide. Joeri held the position of Managing Director Netherlands at FMTC Safety and also worked as the Quality Manager in offshore, maritime, wind, and industry sectors.

In addition, Joeri has experience in online marketing as a Shareholder and Founder of Dutch Blue B.V., a digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, SEA, social media campaigns, and website design. Joeri was also a Shareholder at VJDM Innovative Investments, a parent company of various organizations across industries. Furthermore, Joeri has acted as an Investor and Shareholder in Pet QR, a company that provides smart medals to help locate missing pets. Lastly, they served as a Shareholder at Gizmo Ventures B.V., a participation and investment company.

Joeri van de Watering began their education at OBS 'De Klimroos' from 1994 to 2002. Joeri then attended Jan Tinbergen College from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained their (T)VWO degree with a field of study in Economie & maatschappij (Economy & Society). In 2009, Joeri enrolled at Tilburg University and completed a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from 2009 to 2013. Joeri later attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerciële Economie with a field of study in Marketing / Commerciële economie (CE).

In terms of additional certifications, Joeri obtained a Certificaat taalkennis hoger onderwijs Nederlands from Avans Hogeschool in an unspecified year. Additionally, they acquired an International Baccalaureate (IB) in English from the International Baccalaureate at Jan Tinbergen College in July 2003. Later on, in April 2016, Joeri received the OPITO Approved Competence Assessor (9018) certification from SAFER Training.
