Julien Sunier acquired "la Ferme des Noisetiers" farm in 2005, and just three short years later, he had created his own wine estate from scratch. Today, Julien's French wine estate is practicing organic and biodynamic. The high elevation paired with the region's rocky, granite soils gives his wines a distinctness. This 100% Gamay has tasting notes of blackberries, plums, and violets. Julien refers to it as an "anytime red," delicious on its own, but also works when slightly chilled and paired with a charcuterie board.
