Pierre Bordenave was born in Paris in 1900. He was educated at the Bernard Palissy School of Design, Painting and Decoration in Paris. After starting his own business in design and illustration he returned full time to painting.
He was an influential Paris artist and a member and participant in multiple Salon's including the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts.
In 1958 he won the Grand Prix du Counseil General de Seine-et-Marne. He exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibition all over Europe. He is a listed artist and his art is in private and public collections all over the world.
