OP where did you weld this frame? Surely you welded it to the vehicle somewhere but where were the weld points?

They made it a bolt in cage so that I could get it powder coated. It’s bolted in behind the seats with 4 regulation bolts and a thick plate. Same for the back towards the side.

Does the top still close and does this meet the requirements for tracks that won't otherwise allow convertibles?
