Russet buckram, titles stamped in gilt on black morocco labels mounted to the spines, edges stained black, Worthy Signature laid paper leaves, set in Monotype Poliphilus and Blado italic. Edition limited to 1500, this copy hand numbered 773 and signed by Cleland. Printed at the press of A. Colish, New York. Age tone transfer to front endpapers of first vol., leaves crisp and bright, binding tight. George Macy's seventh issue from the club he founded the previous year, the first American English translation of the Florentine classic.
