As expected, this is soldering iron is MUCH smaller than the pictures suggest. Is is very compact and comfortable in the hand. (For reference, the picture shows it in a size medium hand.)
Works nicely. Heats up fast, great temperature control. Tested with tin-lead solder.
The flashing LEDs are absurd but easily disabled. Settings persist over a power cycle.
Works beautifully with USB-C PD power supplies (plug in or battery.) I suggest a silicone cable if used that way, both for flexibility and some heat protection. A 19V power supply with barrel connector is also included. Virtually any power source 12-25V will work.
The stand and sponge are tiny but do the trick. Two spare bit retaining screws are included. I appreciate that touch having had to replace the one on a similar iron after losing it :-)
Note that although very similar, this SI012 iron does not accept TS100 style bits.
