Product Description

With lush multicolored leaves of varying sizes and colors, caladiums have become very popular plants for gardens. Each leaf seems to be hand painted with striking combinations of green, white, pink, and red. These beautiful plants can be grown as summer bulbs in most all growing zones, but are overlooked as houseplants. Caladium can be grown indoors year round, and create a glorious display rivaling that of any flowering plant----Caladium bulbs can take 2-8 weeks to germinate. The warmer the ground the quicker they will germinate. Caladiums do not begin to grow until the soil temperature reaches above 70 F, so cooler soil will mean a longer wait for the plants to emerge. If the bulbs are too cold during germination, they may rot or be damaged. Please research or reach out to us for planting tips and instructions.

It seems a little bit too long for these bulb to come up, but some of them are slowly coming up. Usually the bulbs i purchase seem to come up sooner than these. It could be that the temperature is not hot enough yet.
