No one knows what is really going on in another person's head, no matter how close they are to each other. Dorna has written an excellent book proving your love can not always save someone, but how you react to their death proves how much you love. She loves hard and grinds out the healing by dedicating her life to healing, growing as an even more successful as a business woman and mother.
To be truthful I know for a fact she is also loved by devoted parents, and she has made them very proud throughout her life. Read and learn how to move from death to living again.

I don't know Ms. Taylor personally, but we're from neighboring towns and I've followed her on Social Media for a few years now. I remember her posting about her husband's passing and compassinately symphathized for her. So glad she decided to tell her story because I know it will/has saved lives. Everyone is walking around with some kind of pain or grief and many times people just need to know they aren't alone. Thank you for the sharing. This was thing I didn't know I NEEDED!!!!! Congrats!

Hello everyone it’s the outfielder again and man o man I just finished reading “Do What You Know How To Do” and if you have not read it yet, you gotta grab you a copy. I mentioned to Attorney Taylor I really wanted to read it because I was seeking some form of navigation for the loss of my father in law last year in May, which has greatly impacted my wife and still does as she battles her way back to some form of normalcy. What I will tell you is as I am digesting each page of Attorney’s Taylor book looking for aid for my wife, a better way to approach and help with the healing process, I found myself finding aid for the last person I chose to read the book for…myself as well.
The level of transparency in this book is unbelievable. I cant imagine how much grit it took to relive this and be vulnerable again, selflessly for US..strangers!! That takes a lot of courage and I for one am glad you shared. The Epilogue was everything a great resource! I’m talking to long now so I will exit with this, for anyone or someone that knows someone slipping into darkness with grief. Give them this compass, this map called “Do What You Know How To Do”

Being that I just loss my spouse a little over a year ago, I can definitely relate to the Author of this book pertaining to the emptiness one can feel w/o the very person you’ve spent some years with in marriage. This book is so very well written until you can invisibly say that the author of this book has been a victim of her own fears, tragic and losses. I so enjoyed how she shared her relearning how to live and cope again for herself, her children, her family and friends, associates etc. In doing so, the very one thing she said that I particularly love was when the Authors daughter asked who was going to take care of them now and the mother simply said “I Will” paraphrasing. I saw the woman with “Double Strength” bounce back to get her house in order. Her late husband made a very impactful statement to her by telling her to “Do What You Know How To Do.” If anyone is or has or still going through this type of trauma this family had to go through, I suggest strongly that you purchase this book and watch how it uplift your mental wellbeing when it comes down to dealing with death, depression, anxiety or grief. I declare this book will help assist you with your healing process to some degree. To clarify this last sentence though. I’m not saying the Author is making any type of medical decisions for anyone, but the storyline is reality and can possibly help you. I recommend reading this book and purchase one for someone else.

Faithfully submitted,

Gale O’Neal

I started reading on my phone but I had to stop because the phone wouldn’t allow me to read it fast enough. I only got through the first few pages but I felt it!! I haven’t experienced loss like you and so many others in similar situations but I have great compassion. People said you were strong but strong does not describe it. More like supernatural powers that only He can provide. This book is phenomenal for people who have gone through loss but it’s also valuable information for people who WILL go through loss. I love the saying, “You fear what you don’t understand“ and this book takes SOME of the fear away (the fear of thinking you’re grieving too long or the fear of feeling a certain way or thinking a certain way), which will help with the healing and acceptance but never forgetting. I applaud you for stepping out on faith and blessing the world.

So.Well.Worth.It.

I already stand in awe of my sis, but to read only the details she could share, was even more awe-spiring.

No one CHOOSES to be as strong as they HAVE to be.

But, she did it.

She did it for her kids.

She did it for herself.

She did it with God's grace.

And now, she's sharing her grief journey with the world.

Please do yourself a favor and pre-order this book for yourself, a friend, or loved one.

Grief is hard enough by itself. You don't have to go through it alone.

I never knew what to say or do when someone’s loved one passed, but I see now that I said all the wrong things. We’re not taught what to say so we just say what we hear others say growing up, now that I know better I’ll definitely do better! Great book. I don’t even like to read and finished it in one day.

Started reading and couldn’t put it down until I finished. This was truly an inside view of the grief of losing a loved one suddenly and finding a way through. Recommend this for anyone who has experienced grief and loss and for those wanting to know how to provide support to someone who has experienced loss.
