Pros: Easy to assemble, easy to use, and it can be used indoors.
Cons: Accessing the training videos was a bit clunky at first.

This is a great training aid that allows the player to get in a lot of good, quality reps. If they focus, they can definitely improve their skills. I love that the videos emphasize the QUALITY of training, not the quantity. You can get a younger player to focus on strong fundamentals for a short time, then as they progress, they can take things at their own pace and keep it fun. Just a great all around tool!

This is very helpful and actually fun to use. I've basically gone from total beginner to decent tennis player pretty quickly from watching YouTube instruction, practicing at a wall, and using the Eye Coach and one other training "device". The Eye Coach I received is well made and very easy to set up. It's great to be able to get useful practice indoors in air conditioning, when it's raining, just whenever I feel like picking up my racquet and going into another room. I've seen quick improvement, especially in the one-handed topspin backhand I was just starting to learn when I bought this. I use my cheaper racquet with it so that's not a concern. (You don't have to pound on the Eye Coach to learn from it anyway.) My girlfriend is using it also now and is starting to become someone I can actually go out on the court and hit with. I don't normally take time to write reviews, but when had a question about my Eye Coach, (not a problem), and got great response/customer service, I thought they deserved it.

The ball placement at the lowest level is a bit too high, I probably should have gotten the junior? I'm about 5'7" tall. But I can definitely still use it.
The trainer itself is surprisingly useful. It will help you memorize your strokes with the right form. One good thing is if you hit the training ball incorrectly, you will feel it and hear a difference since your racquet frame will hit the arm holding the ball.
It is very sturdy and constructed very well. One thing to consider is the cost since it is expensive.

The Eye Coach has been such a big help with my groundstrokes - I try and practice with it a few minutes a day and I definitely am seeing the results on the court. I find myself looking at the ball more on contact (which I wasn't doing too well before). Highly recommend this to any tennis player looking to improve!

I am a 4.0 player who doesn't get a lot of time to practice the fundamentals, with match play being my primary tennis time. I was looking for some way to help reinforce keeping my eye on the ball and making good contact through good mechanics since I just don't have much opportunity to do so on the court. I unpackaged the device and put it together, noting that it seems well made, but I have a REALLY hard time justifying the price point this thing is at. I expected it to be much heavier and sturdier than it is. It seems to perform fairly well after a few ten-minute sessions, but when you look at the total cost of ownership, factoring in the price of replacement balls and the arm (which will break at some point) it doesn't seem like you'd want to use the item as much as you should since each hit brings you closer to replacing a part that is very expensive for what it is. I am going to give it some more time. This was an impulse buy that I have a hard time justifying after my first impression. I had to give it 1 star for Value since the quality of the device's materials doesn't live up to the extravagant price point. Someone is lining their pockets with cash on this one. I realize there is r&d involved, but all of those hours should have equated to a stronger product.

5yo went to beginners tennis camp on weekends for 6 weeks and still kept whiffing on a majority of balls. Didn't enjoy tennis at the time because he kept missing the ball. I got the kids+adult version. He enjoyed using the Swing Trainer because he could actually hit the ball on a consistent basis. Used it for a week before we tried putting him back on the court. When he got back on the court he amazingly made contact on most of the balls, now asks us to play! Works for me and my wife as well. Great product if cost isn't an issue.

Save your money, do NOT get this!

We had high hopes given reviews and the bits and pieces we heard about this. That said, this was disappointing from the moment we opened up the box.
* There were no instructions - it wasn't impossible to figure out, but a simple diagram would have been nice (we reversed the setup originally)
* There are no hitting tips, instructions, or even links to exercises / hitting drills - you're basically left to either hope you find the right material or continue enforcing your own bad habits
* It felt and sounded very cheap when hitting - the trainer would shift around while hitting, and the noise / vibration it made just made it seem hollow, lightweight, and overall cheap

The Eye Coach really helps develop good focus on the ball. My head doesn't move (before striking the ball). This is one of the good habits that I forgot before getting the Eye Coach. My groundstrokes and volleys are much more solid now. The only minor complaint is the specialized ball requires a specific replacement (an ordinary tennis ball can't be used as a replacement).

Merci Billie..!

5.0 out of 5 stars BJK Eye Coach Trainer after first weekend of purchase looking like a Great Buy!

Just received the BJK Eye Coach Pro Trainer this weekend and after just one day or so it is already helping me develop and improve my forehand and back hand topspin technique. It allows you to experiment with racket face angle, and point of contact technique and allows you to see how effective these are in introducing spin to your shot repertoire.
The other great advantage is that you can practice at home when you haven't got time to get to the Club or if the weather prevents you from playing.
My initial thoughts are that this is going to be a very worthwhile purchase in contributing to the improvement of my tennis stroke technique.
