I’m 5’9”, 185 lbs and short waisted. I went with a 34 waist and a 30 leg in these pants. They were a good fit and comfortable right out of the box. So far they are not stretching out. I used to get the classic 529 Levi’s but they have just gotten too tight and uncomfortable. These are cut wider through the leg. In fact, everything is a bit wider! The work on the pants is fine: they seem professionally made and sturdy. No weird stitches or loose threads. Classic Levi’s. The zipper is good; the pockets won’t rip. Good pants!

I was recently put into a boot cast, and since the temperatures are still a tad on the cool side where I live I needed a pair of jeans that I could pull on over my cast. I took my chances and ordered a pair of Levi's 569 in Ice Cap. I was pleasantly surprised! The fit is perfect in the waist and length, and the loose fit at the leg opening allowed me to pull the jeans over my cast. The rinse is very dark, as I had hoped, without any whispering or fading at the knees like so many other colors. They also aren't a real heavy material, so I'll be able to "dress up" this pair of jeans if needed. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

A great pair of Levi’s, fit is very good and they do have a nice stretch so they are comfortable to wear in the shop or out in town. It true they are not the same weight as other jeans but I go for comfort first and these are just comfortable. I wear them in the shop and they have been holding up very well, wash and wear out on the town. I am buying another pair cause they are just comfortable.
Update 2-12-24 Please note-the tag which used to be leather is not leather but a faux leather product and it wear tear and such after a few months.
