The first book in this series took me down a dark and twisted road I wasn't ready for (but absolutely loved) and although I was slightly more prepared knowing what his parents were capable of, this book did the same. Although his mother Wilma (h from book 1) is the "saner" one and has an influence over him, its clear that Blaze is a perfectly twisted and depraved mix of his two fathers (Gray the ars0n1st and Dory the st4lker). 🤤😍

When his family moves to a new town, Blaze immediately becomes 0bs€ssed with his neighbor Anneka. Of course with parents like Dory and Gray, his 0bs€ssion is far from discouraged 😈(I couldn't help but laugh over how proud they were of their boy, and the steps they took to assist him). Although Blaze and Anneka meet as children, there's no doubt that his 0bs€ssion will only grow until he's finally able to take what he's always wanted. And trust me, adult Blaze is not someone you want to try and keep from what he's always wanted.

While Anneka has never forgotten the little boy who was 0bs€ssed with her (and touching her f|ame colored hair 😍), she never expected to see him again. Let alone for him to hold her c4pt!v€...and do so much worse (heed the tr1gg€r warnings).

Their story is far from an easy one, and although Blaze did some truly unforgivable things, there was never a doubt that these two would get their HEA. Amazing addition to the series and I'm hoping the author writes the other siblings.

It was written good and it was definitely a darker book. Most won’t like so read the triggers and don’t complain after. I just didn’t feel the connection. I didn’t feel like either really loved each other but more of a settling or forced. It ended too quickly wrapped up with a weak epilogue.

I finished this book yesterday but I needed some time to process before talking about it. First of all, for the love of all things holy CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS! I've read all sorts of dark romances that never bothered me but this one tested me a little bit.
After reading Burning Depravity I knew I had to read this book to see how this kid turned out. After book 1, I thought Gray was as bad as it gets. Boy how wrong I was. Blaze is a psychopath. There's no nice way to say it but somehow delicious at the same time. I laughed, I cried, I screamed. I messaged the sweet author and probably drove her insane.
I absolutely loved this book. My favorite part is that she wrote it realistically. No way would the three characters from book one have a normal well adjusted kid. He is exactly what I pictured the result from these three crazies.
Anneka and Blaze are sexy, smutty, and wonderful together. If you can handle the content you need to RUN to read this. Definitely read Burning Depravity first!

Never fear! Blaze is here! Well, perhaps Anneka should at least.

In this sequel to Burning Depravity, the readers meet Wilma, Dory, and Gray's children - specifically Blaze and follow along through parts of his childhood as he meets and develops his love and obsession for the flame haired girl next door, Anneka.

Fast forward to adulthood for the dark and delicious events which ensue, and the readers come to see that Blaze is every bit the son of both his fathers with twists uniquely his own as well.

What makes this story stand out are the twists and turns Mia Fury takes us on while exploring these depraved delights. Nothing goes quite as the reader might imagine or expect. Plus there's enough heat and spice in here to set all new kinds of fires. Blaze is definitely a firebug of many varieties!

Be warned this is not a light tale or for the faint of heart. Reading Burning Depravity is very useful as well to understand more of the family dynamic and history which shows up often in this book, but it's well worth the time as both books are a shadowy wonderland for dark romance readers.

I absolutely loved that we got a second generation story from this world and that we have Blaze’s book.
It was always going to be interesting to see how he grew up with parents like his and their influences on him.

The parallels and call backs to Burning Depravity were fantastic and I loved the glimpses we got of Gray, Dory, Wilma and how their lives turned out. I liked seeing them as parents and how important their family is to them and the lengths they’ll go to protect one another. I still adore Gray and I think he’s even more perfect in this book. Mia knows I have a thing for the crazy ones.

Blaze is perfectly twisted and wicked and so hard not to love. He was instantly obsessed with Anneka when his family moved next door to her so they could “lead a more normal life” but obviously things with them all were not going to be that simple.
Now all grown up Blaze is taking what he wants and what he wants is Anneka.

Anneka always struggled with her feelings towards Blaze and you can see the fight she has with herself with how she deals with what happens to her, but it was great to read through these reactions and see their relationship develop.

Another perfectly depraved and twisted dark read from Mia Fury that you won’t be able to put down.
