I received the D5 bass in less than 2 days from ordering it from Chicago Music Exchange {CME) and it was securely overpacked. The bass looked great… but the E string tuner shaft was loose/wobbly. That’s a QC issue I’ll ding Sire for.

At any rate I returned the bass to CME. The day they received the return CME sent me an email about the credit which immediately went back to my Amazon gift balance and the remainder was pending on my CC.

The bass QC issue was disappointing but by CS experience was excellent with CME. Thanks!
