This thing works really well for people who are new to woodworking. This little tool works amazing. I am going to order one for larger pieces of wood because it only goes so wide but it works perfect and it holds the boards in place. I had to learn how to figure out what levels in the inches on it to use for where I’m at but once I figured it out, it worked amazing. I’ve used it to build custom shelves in my bathroom. I used it to build a workshop table in the garage. I used it to build the frame for a couch for our dog that I made from pallets!

This was very handy. I’m a beginner at some diy home improvement projects and needed to make a counter top. This did just what it said it would. The instructions weren’t the best but again, I’m a beginner and didn’t know this tool existed a month ago so i watched a YouTube video on how to set the correct distances and I think it went pretty well! The tool is sturdy and I’m sure I’ll be using it on furniture projects.

Purchased this for use on building cornhole boards. The angled measurements were not accurate and the slide on the bit did not come with a depth gage. Would recommend spending the extra money for a Kreg if you prefer your project to come out perfectly.

Personal note
I use this connection only when a conventional method is not available
Tongue and groove, dowel pins, mortise and tenon, or the old school wood glue with a finish nail
CAUTON
If you have not used this type of connection before, practice on a scrap piece first, when tightening screws beware of blow out! overtightening can cause the screw to pull though the material and breakout the sides, or cause a bulge in the material being used. As easy as it appears to use, it does have it's drawbacks.
Again it's a good jig, well worth it's price in the right application.

This is a solidly built, all metal jig with built-in clamp. Accurate and very easy to use so the absence of any documentation is not a big drawback. The one complaint I have is that you have to determine the collar location on the drill bit by trial and error. It would have be great to have some kind of guide for this purpose.

Worked great for a week and then one of the thumb screws pulled the threads out from being cross threaded. Steel hardware and aluminium cut threads isn't a great idea.

Other than that, the jig worked well and the bits we're ok. They filled after some heavy use and I had to replace them.
