I just got this jacket. It looks pretty well built with a fair amount of double stitch sewing at the seams and around the pockets. The hood fits well. I bought it a size larger than normal to allow me to wear and additional sweatshirt if needed, but not now. I was quite warm and able to move quite freely. I took it out on my daily 3 mile walk in a 38 degree quite rainy breezy day (spring in Maine) at the beach. I was quite comfortable. It is very water proof and I stayed totally dry. I like the high visibility look as opposed to the normal dark clothing that everyone wears during the winter time. A lot of people driving around are not paying attention to walkers, but this catches their attention. I think for me it will work well into temps between the 20s and up into the 50s. I might buy another one with no lining someday. Money well spent.

I wear either a large or x-L for a jacket. This I ordered an XL and the sleeves and chest are large enough that I can wear layers underneath. If you have a 46 chest and are just putting over a shirt... get the large.

The color and workmanship is great. The price is even better. It is hard to find a decent rain resistant garment for close to this price, let alone a functional work jacket that is light, warm and durable... even hooks for the mic and a pocket for the badge to stay visible.
