About this item
- Aculief is a patented, compact wearable acupressure device that applies pressure to the LI4 acupressure point on your hand, located between your thumb and forefinger. It's designed to provide natural tension and headache relief throughout the day.
- This is an all-natural, drug-free option for people looking for relief from pain caused by recurring headaches, migraines, eye problems, and fever. It can also help boost your immune system. Our Aculief Clip is also FSA and HSA eligible for most health plans.
- This is a discreet and mobile way of relieving stress and discomfort while still maintaining an active lifestyle. While other acupressure and acupuncture devices can be bulky, Aculief goes where you go.
- For the best results, wear Aculief on your nondominant hand on the LI4 acupressure point, which is located between the thumb and forefinger. It fits like a glove, and we carry multiple sizes and colors. We recommend checking our Sizing guide; the 5th photo on our listing. If the Regular size is too big, try the small size Aculief. If the small size is too big, try the X-small/Kids size. If Aculief is too tight on your hand, attempt to stretch out the device before use
- We know every experience related to personal wellness is unique, so we offer a hassle-free return policy. Just contact Aculief within 60 days of your purchase. DO NOT USE Aculief if you are pregnant or have nylon allergies.

Product Description
BENEFITS
Provides pressure to the L14 pressure point, one of the most powerful points on your body.
Helps to short-circuit a headache in 30 seconds.
Helps smoothen the flow of your body's natural energy to reduce tension, nurturing overall well-being and holistic health.
Designed to provide natural tension and headache relief throughout the day.
WHO IS ACULIEF FOR?
Aculief can be used by everyone at any age who may suffer from headaches, tension, health imbalance or discomfort. You can wear your Aculief from 5 minutes to several hours.
We currently offer three different sizes: regular, small and x-small/kids. When on your hand your Aculief should press firmly on your LI4 pressure point so it won't slide around. Make sure your Aculief is on your pressure point, if higher up it will press on your bone causing discomfort and possible bruising.
MEASUREMENTS ARE THE LENGTH OF THE ACULIEF
The Aculief should fit snugly on the L14 pressure point, or the fleshy point in-between where the thumb and first finger bones meet in a “V”.

Reusable needle free.
My sympathetic system is constantly fighting for control and hands between thumb and index fingers always tight. These help my heart rate and stress levels.
If you plan to move hands/thumbs a lot wear a pair of fingerless gloves over top to help keep in place. Other wise they slide off.
Very good tool. Highly recommend

I had a chance to repurchase this and this item must be the correct size. It fits nicely and does not work its way off. It will work itself into the correct spot if you try to put it on too deeply. No issues works as intended. I used it on a day I really was not lookign forward to taking another pill. Headache went away. No pill. Win!!!
Original:
I bought this and had high hopes. I might have accidentally received the smaller version. I am a big guy and the product was extremely hard to put on or it would fall off my hand due to movement. I really should order another. I've known about pressure points for years and if the headache is brewing I resort to manual pressure. I'd love to see something that works automagically. When I need a quick item to add to the cart for shipping I might try again. Because the knowledge is sound I have not deducted any stars. I would fully anticipate the larger size to work well. For now I am giving it a neutral rating.
I'll start off by saying that I've just received the Aculief tool and therefore haven't had much time with it yet. I'll update my review if any of my opinions change!
My Story:
I have suffered from chronic migraines for my entire life (I'm 25), and it has been a constant struggle to find things that work for them. I've cycled through almost all the available medications, and with health insurance in America being what it is, I never have enough of the medical relief that I need. Therefore, it's very important to have tools at my disposal that can tide me over when I don't have my medication!
I'm a bit skeptical about acupressure, but with how severe my migraines are I'll try pretty much anything once. I've heard a lot about how powerful the LI4 point is, and when I read the other reviews for this little gadget I thought it couldn't hurt to try it.
First Use:
I've been experiencing a severe migraine for the past few days due to heat and pressure, and I've decided to break this tool out at work to see if it can help me get through my day. So far it's actually been surprisingly helpful! Keep in mind that I am also using medication, so I can't speak to its effectiveness as a solo migraine treatment, but what I can say is that I notice a definite positive change in the level of pain in my neck, shoulders, and head when I am actively using my Aculief.
The Basics:
The Aculief tool is very small and easy to slip into a purse or other bag (I keep it in an inside pocket of my purse or a pocket in my jeans when I'm not using it). It's relatively discrete, save for the color, so it feels appropriate to wear in an office environment. It stays on while I work (I'm wearing it as I type this review), and so far I haven't experienced any slippage. One thing I have noticed is that in order to hit the LI4 I have to wear the tool differently than is shown in the product photo. I have very small hands, so it's probably just that the tool is designed with the average hand size in mind. It's not a huge issue, in my opinion. You can see in the photos I've attached how I wear it.
One other thing worth mentioning is that, because the tool squeezes your trigger point, you will have some noticeable redness on your skin after taking it off (see attached photos). This seems pretty normal to me, and the redness does disappear after a little while. I imagine that if you use the tool too much or have it too tight some bruising could occur, but I can't say for sure. I'm not a medical professional, just someone with a lot of chronic pain and experience. :)
With regards to worries about stretching the tool: I have been playing around with the flexibility and have stretched it very far with not even a hint that it might break. It seems very well engineered!
Why 4 Stars?
I only gave the Aculief tool 4 stars because it seems a tad overpriced to me. I get the feeling that you are paying for the branding and aesthetics along with the engineering. For what it is, $20 seems a little much. However, if you are in dire need of migraine relief, it is worth a try if you can afford it.
Another consideration in my review was the discomfort I experience while using it - this isn't the fault of the tool itself; it's just the nature of this type of pain treatment. While I do wish it fit my hand a bit better, I understand that I am probably not in the majority when it comes to hand size.
OVERALL:
A very handy little tool for us daily migraine sufferers! I have noticed relief when used in conjunction with OTC medications like Excedrin. Easy to use while working, no effect on ability to type, etc. Will leave some redness after use. Slightly overpriced in my opinion, but still worth a shot if you are in need of quick pain relief.
