Francis Joseph Dockx, 80, Deming resident and originally of Montclair, New Jersey died Saturday, March 2, 2024 in El Paso, Texas from leukemia. He born May 24, 1943 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to John Vincent Dockx and Margaret Courter.

After settling in Deming, he was a familiar face at the Saturday morning flea markets, a volunteer at the FUMC rummage sales and a trusted and respected handyman and painter for friends and neighbors. Frank was a good man, he was funny, loved beautiful things and made friends easily.

He is survived by his beloved soulmate Kathie (Kat) Gates-Porath; his three children John (Cindy), Kristie (Rob Asero) and Kelley along with 3 grandchildren, Brielle, Christian, Kyla. Frank will be missed by many.

As per his wishes cremation will take place and has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.
