    Employment Highlights

    Compensation

    • Compensation is based on experience as well as the scope of the position
    • Many interim jobs display a compensation range at the top of the job post page
    • Interims are W-2 salaried employees
    • Salary is paid every other week via electronic deposit


    Travel & Lodging

    • Interims are provided travel, lodging, and rental car accommodations which are directly paid for by client or B.E. Smith
    • Travel home is typically every other weekend
    • Lodging is fully furnished, including a kitchen/kitchenette

    Length & Frequency of Assignments

    • All interim assignments are open-ended contracts, with the exact length based on client needs, although engagements tend to average between 6 to 9 months
    • Interim leaders are expected to stay throughout the duration of the assignment
    • Frequency of assignments depends on an interim's preference and flexibility to lead in a variety of positions and locations
    • When an interim's current assignment ends, B.E. Smith works with the interim to identify new potential assignments


    Requirements

    • Interim leaders are expected to maintain current licensure and applicable certifications
    • Interims need to provide a vaccination history and recent TB test results


    Assignment Support

    • We have a dedicated Professional Services team to support interim leaders while on engagement
    • The Professional Services team assists with housing, travel, account login, expense reports, and a whole range of issues allowing interims to focus on the challenges of the assignment
