Q: Questionwhy would i spend $30.00 on a box to recycle when the trash is cheaper
Asked by toexpenitve.
- A:Answer @toexpensive, when using the word intending to mean 'in excess', the word is spelled too. * Most recycle because it's the responsible thing to do. Sellers AND consumers tend to carry a responsibility for the eventual disposal of products sold/purchased. * Best Buy offers the mail in service, but people can also drop most items off at their nearby physical store. * Many businesses/municipalities hold local recycling events where you can drop items off for free or at a minimal cost.

Q: QuestionDoes Best Buy recycle VHS and other large format cassette tapes?
Asked by Billy.
- A:Answer Best Buy does not do the recycling themselves but they have partnered with ERI. According to their website (https://shop.eridirect.com/recycling/medium-electronics-recycling-box), scroll down a bit and you will see a list of what they do and do not accept. VHS tapes are not accepted.

Q: QuestionWhat is the incentive to PAY YOU to refurb electronics we've bought to turn around and charge close to new price off our electronics? Shouldn't BB Be paying for the things they intend to sell? Do we get a percentage of that sale?
Asked by Isaiah.
- A:Answer Because you're supposed to send e-waste in it. Meaning that you should use it to send stuff that no longer work and can fit into the box (Best Buy won't refurb broken keyboards, cables. mice, headphones, a broken phone from 2008, etc.)

Q: QuestionIs there an additional fee for UPS pick up from my residence? I will need to have the items picked up by UPS after they are boxed. When I call UPS will there be any additional charges for the return shipping and if so where can I find out what they are?
Asked by ScampMichael.
- A:Answer That would be a question that UPS can answer since the services they offer vary by location. The information can usually be answered by visiting their website as well. The shipping cost is included in the cost you pay up front when ordering the box. The pre-paid label needed to ship the box back to Best Buy is supposed to be included with the box when you receive it.
