Features

notes

Velvety magenta flowers frame this almost thornless, Gallica shrub rose. A sturdy plant with upright growth, its many petalled flowers are scented with an Old Rose fragrance adding to its sensory appeal and giving it a real sense of opulence. Image courtesy of David Austin Roses.

Please note, our roses are available to purchase all year round, so depending on the time of year your rose may either arrive in bloom or have been pruned or deadheaded appropriately for the season.

Insights

A very similar rose to Rosa Tuscany but with larger flowers and taller growth. Introduced by Thomas Rivers & Sons Ltd in 1837, it is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
