Overview

The Channel Master Splitter 3 divides the TV signal from your antenna to connect three TVs.

The Channel Master Splitter 3 is a 3-way RF splitter that offers exceptional performance and long-term reliability for those looking to split a TV antenna signal to multiple televisions. This high quality splitter is weather proof for outdoor use and provides significant advantages in center conductor retention and electrical performance that basic splitters do not offer.  The Splitter 3 from Channel Master was specifically designed for antenna installations but it is also compatible with cable TV signals.

Not Your Typical Splitter

The Channel Master Splitter 3 is not your typical cheap Gold-Plated splitter, instead we put our focus on what really matters.

Power Passing

The Channel Master Splitter 3 is specifically designed for TV antenna installations. The Splitter 3 can be used with or without an antenna pre-amplifier. When used with an antenna pre-amplifier the Splitter 3 simplifies installation allowing DC power to pass through any of the output ports up to the pre-amplifier.  (If you are trying to split the signal from an outdoor antenna that is powered over the coaxial cable or if you have a pre-amplifier that is powered over coaxial cable, you will need a Channel Master power passing splitter.  Regular splitters sold online and the ones used by cable TV companies are typically not power passing and will block power and prevent your antenna or amplifier from working.)

Digital Signal Future Proofing

Channel Master Splitter 3 delivers enhanced reliability for signal reception of current and future standards such as ATSC 3.0, NextGen TV, 4K, Ultra HD and HDR.

Excellent Shielding Effectiveness

A splitter with poor shielding can let unwanted signals penetrate and interfere with your signal. Interference introduced through the splitter will cause signal quality issues resulting in intermittent or complete loss of audio and video.

Indoor/Outdoor Design

All Metal housing and weather-sealed ports provide superior defense against long-term corrosion.

Great Product, Great Company

I bought the CM Pro Antenna with the UHF extension, but I was still losing channels that were fairly close. I'm thinking it was because of the cheap ONN splitter I installed. I ordered the CM 3 way splitter and installed it today. The picture seems clear, guess we'll see how it works out. So far so good. Make sure you tighten the connections with a wrench!

Great splitter … cheap wood screws

Love, love, LOVE the Channel Master lineup of antenna and related equipment. Extremely well-made, high-quality. Just installed a Channel Master Pro Model antenna with the 30” mast, Pro Mount, and three-way splitter. Exceptional products … clear and easy-to-follow instructions, plenty of support videos, and great customer service and technical support. One complaint: the two wood screws that shipped with the splitter are awful. I stripped the heads of both installing them with a regular old Phillips screwdriver, even after drilling pilot holes for the screws. Luckily, I store a ton of hardware in my workshop, so I used two of my own screws. The splitter enables the antenna to connect to three TVs inside our house, and all working great so far. I would note that for us, installation was a breeze — we dumped our DirecTV, and I used the coaxial cables from our old DirecTV splitter/amplifier that already connected to our three TVs. Easy button, for sure. Installation will be more involved — potentially much more — for people who need to run new coaxial cable from the splitter or directly from the antenna inside a house or other structure.

Awesome splitter

Splitter came early so that was great. Removed Walmart splitter and installed the new Channel Master 3-way splitter and I immediately got 20 more channels. Fantastic.

3 Way Splitter

Have a DVD recorder-player, DVR, and Flat Screen TV all hooked up to CM 3 Way Splitter from single Channel Master EXTREMEtenna. Have high priority DVR hooked to -3.5db, other 2 on -7.5 outputs. Using DVR's signal strength meter CM splitter gave 8% increase in signal strength compared to balanced non CM 3 way Splitter I was using. Even DVD and TV had a 4% increase in signal according to their own signal strength meters. A very effective splitter indeed. The CM splitter was smaller and better made too, at a great price.

Built for Antenna TV

I was having problems with 2 of my high VFH channel with another splitter. I guess it was letting power for the preamplifier pass through. It did help a lot, pictures are now able to watch with some little pixelation. Maybe next upgrade to a better antenna.
